“Agent lust has informed me of the symbol that agent cult come across and I fear that it is not a threat to take likely.” “Captain, can I ask what’s so scary about the green firey wolf symbol?,” Scott asked. “The specific symbol belongs to a sorcerer who was perceived dead many years ago. He was known as Harold Hurst, the Warlock Alpha.” The air thickened in the room as the agents each opeard their eyes wide open at the starting news. “But that means his Deus demon is....” Sam started. “That’s right, agent Ethol occulus, the Alpha Lemon,”

“Not so fast.” We look up and see Alastor in his human form. He has a malicious grin as I see his eyes turn red. He is going to cook us alive. As he prepares to throw a fireball at us he is struck in the shoulder with an ice spear. He growls and glares at Maliyah. “Wait your turn my dear niece.”

Added one more line, because the evidence demanded it even if I wasn't ready for what it meant: Which means they knew I was coming. Before Alastor did.

Animal skin rugs covered the floor, and at the center was a wooden bed with my daughter lying lifelessly on it, covered in a woven blanket. My baby has been like this for two weeks now. And to make it worse, the ancient priest revealed that the only thing that can bring her back and set her free is innocent blood—blood from a monk’s lineage—and crystal blood directly from the moon goddess. Sadly, after a few days of searching and seeking the faces of the sorcerer, we were told that the only remaining descendants with that blood are Hazel and her mother’s younger brother. But sadly, the healer requires the blood of a lady, which means Hazel.

And what are those things standing around them’ ‘ Alvaro’s gone after him,’ Jake snarled ‘ and those things are death-eaters. That is the name given to the most ardent followers of Torelli. The group consists primarily of wizards and witches who are pure-blood supremacists and who practiced the black magic with the least care, with malevolence, and without regard, neither with reverence or respect to the law of wizardry. They are his primal force and his mark is blazoned on their forehead. That’s what summons them to congregate in such fast manner’ At this, anxiety seized Jesse

It simply disintegrated, then reappeared back in the car. “Sick bastard,” I spat. He'd been stalking me. I tore a slim black book from the rat pile. Book of Psychopomps was etched on it in gold ink. Numbers, emails, and old-fashioned addresses accompanied names, written in no apparent order. I rifled through the pages: “Old farts: ODIN, MORRIGAN, YAMA, HERMES....” and “New pests: ANAESTHESIA, AIDS, SANTA MUERTE...” A red ribbon marked a page at the back. “Accessories: SHANNON PARKER.”

The badge was real, one of many we have stolen from O’Hanian over the years. “Alright, alright, I owe him nothing. It was the Dog Star bastard.” I hear the woman spit on the ground as though clearing her mouth of the foul-tasting name. “The who?” Vulk asks. “Holy shit,” I say through the door, “I was right. The guy with the glasses is a cockatrice. That explains everything.” “A what?” Vulk probed, stepping outside. “A Cockatrice. It kills you with a glance. A Basilisk!” “No kidding?”

“Hmm. So, you think it’s a curse or a spell of some sort?” “How the hell should I know? I don’t deal with whatever magic or religion that is. Seriously, is this everything or are you going to spring something else on me?” Yolanda was more than a little insulted, and he hadn’t even eased into this breach. She took one look at the cooler and the disembodied limbs. “Gods, that’s disgusting. Why would anyone want to do that? It’s so unnatural.” “That’s why I’m here. This falls under my team’s specialty. Occult, supernatural, and unexplained. We go in and try to find answers for it.”

But this house, was something else. “This is the packhouse.” April said. A large bald black guy came out of the house. He was really intimidating, and I knew he had to be Osiris. Fucking Alpha Osiris I mean. He walked up to us and I had to fucking tell myself to breath. My first instinct was to run away, but if he meant me harm, he would have killed me sooner. Right?

Myla frowned. “What do you mean by that?" Henry grinned. “The Alpha King isn't known to be a monster for nothing. He hardly buys human slaves but the ones he had bought in the past are all dead. Rumor has it that his demon feeds on them at night but don't worry, you'll get to experience that soon" Myla's eyes widened. What an atrocity! That can't be true, can it? Before she could think more on that, Henry grabbed her roughly and tied her hands with chains which ended up hurting her wrist.
