Novel & Cerita High Rise

especially some one who was only supposed to be someone's boy toy. The group stepped into a glass elevator. Collen pressed the button for the forty third floor. As the elevator rose up into the sky the view was originally blocked by the many buildings surrounding The Northern Garden, then in an instant their eyes were assaulted by the beauty of the setting sun breaking over the buildings. It really was a sight to behold as the rays of light shined through the glass elevator.

Everything is changed and his life turns upside down because of this one person. This person is no other that Sierra Jane, a girl who he had a crush on in high school. He was mad about her and would do anything just to have a single glimpse of her but before he could confess his feelings to her she left the city only to return years later creating chaos in his life.

Adrian POV I had no idea that Missy was that well off. I mean, I know she was well off in a sense, but not that she was a stinking Scrooge McDuck well off. Investing and buying houses out right is like another world to me. I’m struggling to pull enough money together to pay off Hailey’s mom so I can keep my daughter. If buying and installing a jetted bathtub after spending nearly 70 grand on repairs is not a big deal to Missy, I can’t even comprehend how much money she must have.

Richard waves, already distracted by the wine list. I walk calmly through the restaurant, but the moment I'm out of sight, I change route and head straight for what I hope leads to the top of the restaurant. I find the stairs and climb quickly, my pulse racing with each step. Fortunately, there’s no sign of security and I go ahead to slide the glass open. The rooftop is breathtaking—open air with elegant coverings, lush plants, and a view of the city that's probably stunning at sunset. But I barely notice any of it, Because there he is. Cole MayRidge.

“Can’t you do anything right?! You useless child!” Emely’s shrill voice shattered the silence of the luxurious living room. Clarisa, the poor little girl, trembled violently as her tiny fingers struggled to reach the water dispenser placed high on the counter. In the living area, Vanes sat back arrogantly. She was no ordinary sister-in-law; she was Dewangga’s first love—the one he failed to marry because of family disapproval in the past—yet now she lived in this house as a “special guest,” more respected than Serena.

Excitement tingled in the air as my friend, Miles, and I stepped out of the vehicle and made our way inside. As the elevator doors opened on the top floor, we were met with the opulent sight of my penthouse. The spacious living room greeted us with its modern design, adorned with unique artwork and stylish furniture. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows framed the panoramic view of the city skyline, amplifying the grandeur of my high-rise abode.

The ballroom sparkled with the sheen of old money and new ambition. Chandeliers glittered overhead, cascading golden light across polished marble and champagne flutes. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement… investors, media figures, executives, all gathered to celebrate the monumental High-Rise project. A project I designed. A project Richard and I brought to life. And tonight was the official launch… the celebration of months of work, sacrifice, strategy… and secrets.

Our interest is to polish artists of both sexes. All the members applauded because they had seen that complex building. Beatrice, could you give us an update about your area? My Prince, we have had enough of completed buildings we can sell but the little problem is about the high-rise buildings which need elevators to work so that the internals could be finished.

Daniel’s niece, Veronica, was the first to raise her phone and scream. Then cheers followed one after another. “Wow! Veronica is right! I got fifty thousand too!” “Same here! The company really delivered this year!” “Mr. Aster is so generous! Hard work pays off! Let’s make next year even greater!” … One shout of “fifty thousand” after another burst around me like firecrackers. I lowered my head and checked my banking app. It was empty. Just like previous years, there wasn’t a single deposit notification. A tight frustration slowly built in my chest.

The elevator climbed so smoothly that Isla barely felt it moving, but the tension in her stomach made her sway on her heels. She had been in luxury high-rises before, but not like this. Not to meet him. Damien Veyra’s penthouse occupied the top two floors of the tallest building in the city — a property whispered about in investor circles, not because of its price tag, but because no one entered unless invited. And invitations from Damien were never casual.
