Dexter shook his head. “No way.” He sniffed lightly, staring at the small waves gently lapping at their feet. “It looks like they went there when the tide was low, and now the tide is high. They're trapped.”
Narsha snorted softly, staring at the sea that looked calm but hid strong currents beneath its surface. “Then... we have to wait until low tide again?”
Dexter nodded slowly. “It looks like it. But look,” he said, pointing to the coastline. “Based on the footprints, low tide will be again soon. Maybe an hour, two hours at most.”
