The air shimmered as Hinata dropped her henge, the shy exterior falling away like a discarded cloak. Gone was the hesitant gaze, the demure posture. Her byakugan flared, swirling with a hunger that Sasuke recognized and, truth be told, relished.
"Took you long enough," Sasuke drawled, his voice low and laced with a hint of amusement. "Worried the Dobe would notice you sneaking out, Hyuga?"
Hinata's lips curled into a smirk, a stark contrast to her usual gentle expression. "Naruto is... preoccupied," she purred, stepping closer, her movements confident and deliberate. "Besides, you know I always make time for you, Sasuke-kun."
