His Lost Lycan Luna Chapter 44 Novels & Stories

“Aside from my assistant, you're the only person I know that engages me and takes back. If I'm going to be taking a Luna, however temporary, I need someone who's smart and can contribute to my home… even if it means going against me sometimes.” My throat went dry at his speech as it eradicated any negative thoughts that night be residing at the back of my mind. “So…do we have a deal?” He asked again, his eyes sharp. This time, I didn't hesitate to answer. “Yes. Yes, I will be your Luna.” A few seconds had barely passed after I agreed when the door opened and a tall, lanky man with shrewd eyes and shaggy hair confidently strolled in, stopping short when he spotted me and the Lycan King.

And she took a step back. I had let this go far enough. I did understand Natalia in a way. To have the man that you had been waiting for slip away from your grasp just like that. It must be devastating to watch it all unfold, but she had a mate somewhere in the world. or maybe she didn’t. “I want to change thing around the pack house. I am the Luna.” Her face grew red, her body trembling, she was shifting and I was panicking. It happened, the cracking of bones and a full blooded female Lycan snapped towards me. I dodged it.

There was about to be chaos! The lycan noticed that his mate had become stiff. He lifted its head up and saw that her eyes were closed. He nudged her neck with its snout but she didn’t move. Realization started to dawn on the lycan that its mate had lost consciousness. His black eyes started turning red as it was starting to lose control. “Alpha, we need to get Luna to the witch,” Adrian quickly said before the lycan finally took control. This seemed to do the trick as he calmed down.

Because no one would speak up for an orphan. In the depths of the pain, I whispered Marty's words to myself over and over. You'll pass it. And now even that was being torn out of my hands, one stroke at a time. I was bracing for the tenth when the noise started. A ripple at the back of the crowd. Boots. A wave of people stumbling to get out of someone's way, and a word passing mouth to mouth, fast and stunned. The Prince. The Lycan Prince is here.

The assembled bards joined in, harmonizing with the intricate notes, creating a symphony that captured the essence of Luna's resilience and wisdom. As the music enveloped the listeners, Lyra began to sing the tales of Luna's triumphs—the battles against vampires that threatened Nampa's harmony, the alliances forged with neighbouring realms, and the enduring unity of the pack. Each verse unfolded like a vibrant tapestry, illustrating Luna's unwavering spirit.

"I am the Luna! Me! I am the one you love!" I felt Deacon stiffen beside me, his muscles tense. His Lycan blood and dominance radiated off of him, looking ready to pounce, but I placed a hand on his arm. "Wait," I whispered, watching the scene unfold with a detached, clinical curiosity. "Let’s see what he does."

Sebastian’s voice grew distant. Her knees buckled. The world tilted. She heard the faint sound of her name before everything went dark. Sebastian caught her just before she hit the ground. “Aria!” The book on the floor flared with sudden silver light, pages fluttering wildly as if alive. A single phrase burned itself onto the open page in glowing letters: “The blood of the lost shall awaken the moon.” The light faded as quickly as it came, leaving behind silence and the soft sound of Lyanna’s cry echoing from the upper chambers.

“If she was here, she would never let you clean the pack house.” “Oh, just stop it. I don’t want her to be more stressed over me.” Chanda whined. “Let’s just do this fast, so we can hopefully still get some sleep.” They walked into the living room, locking the door behind them. “Okay, take the left wing and I will take the right.” Chanda said. “The right wing is where the Luna chamber is. I think I should clean there. I have never been in the Lycan’s wing. I don’t wish to start today.”

“I am fine. Clive has nearly removed all the drugs. It has just left him a little weak. Yes, I felt the pain that my Luna was going through, even though not as bad as you. When I felt you send some of your energy to her, I sent some of mine to you, wanting to help my Luna... May I ask what happened? Is she really okay?” “She is fine. She is strong. She is a fighter. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to help her through more than one shift into her Lycans wolf, and that was the night of the full moon…” “But that pain was more than just a shift, even for a second…”

His eyes, sharp and merciless, never looked away. "Because," he said darkly, "you, Larissa Colter, are going to pay for what you did to my Luna... Brittany." His words hit like a thousand nails to the chest. My world cracked open into darkness. Brittany. Memories I had buried clawed their way back with relentless force—the haunting incident from last year, the one that tore my life apart and left nothing but ash. Back then, my older sister, Brittany Colter, had taken me to the Forbidden Forest to help awaken my wolf.
