Chapter 23: I’m Sorry 3rd Person POV Alfonso groaned at him. “The Senior Council and I thought that it would be better to have remarriage ceremony for you and Isabelle. It’s been years already you have no heir. What will happen to the next generation, huh?” Lady Isabelle walked to their direction and acted innocently. “You don’t have to force my husband, grandpa. He’s been very focused on the town and so do I. We couldn’t fulfill the duties of being a husband and wife to each other because of that. I apologized. It’s my fault.”

I doubted whether he would deceive me again in the future, and truth be told, I was more conflicted than Jaclyn Dills himself. Moreover, Jaclyn Dills was a creature of habit, difficult to change. Today, he pretended to be drunk and fooled me again. Therefore, even though Jaclyn Dills was now humble and apologetic, my anger didn't dissipate.
