“How—“ The rest of the words were snatched from my mouth just then, as a chain was suddenly thrown across my throat, tightening further as whoever held it behind me, pulled tighter. Acting very fast, I managed to slip my fingers underneath the chain, struggling with the bastard, and as this went down, the man in a cast quickly scrambled to his feet and dashed into the street. But he didn’t make it very far, because at that very moment, a sleek black car from nowhere, rammed into him, climbing atop his body, and a nanosecond later, a loud cracking sound followed. The sleek black car sped away just then, and I knew immediately that this was a hit-and-run. A very intentional one. Mustering the

the familiar voice shrieked all of a sudden. “Mitch.” “Marcus.” They both knew the consequences of getting out of line. Better to call it a truce and live to fight another day. Marcus steadily breezed past him (wouldn’t have ended the same way just a couple days ago) and got into the car. “Need to appeal to mom this time” he changed gears. “I’m tired of this—” as soon as he put his foot on the accelerator, a figure just walked past the front of the car, completely unaware of the situation. Although he didn’t bump into her, the jerk of the car almost hitting startled her a little and she plummeted to the floor.

Nova I felt his hardness pressed up against me after I told him I didn’t have the money yet, and a hit to my nose caused my glasses to crack and fly from my face. He’s going to punish me right here in a back alley, and there wasn’t a thing I could do about it, half-blind and in mile-high heels.

Love all of this series. I can’t put the books down. I want more of Kaia’s story and Kon’s too. Definitely a great read. If I could put 10 stars I would. I’m really picky about ebooks and what I read but this whole series has kept me interested and captivated since I read the first few paragraphs.

The Lost Alpha Princess

“Lydia also has her husband’s car registered. She must drive it to work occasionally. It’s a Blue Lincoln Corsair.” “That’s a big SUV, right?” I asked. “I believe it is,” Dr. Clark replied. “Why? What happened?” “I met a new source at the diner, and afterward, they were hit by a big blue luxury SUV,” I explained. Dr. Clark was stunned for a moment. “Was Lydia Shires driving?” It was a hit-and-run. A witness told me a tiny woman driving the SUV hit my source on purpose.” I replied. “I feel terrible about it. I can’t let anyone else get hurt, but I can’t let the story go either.”

Bitten by Fate

Bitten by Fate

Stella looked at the Doctor confused. Doctor Wilks saw this and realised saying “On your neck there is a bite mark that looks to me a cougar or some sort of large animal, they were most likely attracted to the smell of blood. It most like got spooked by the ambulances and ran off.” Stella continued to stare at the Doctor waiting for the bad news she somehow knew was coming. Doctor Wilks paused taking a big breath “Your husband was driving the car when another car veered into your lane and hit your car on the driver’s side. The driver was drunk. Your husband”. Doctor Wilks paused again looking at straight at Stella and continued “We can’t confirm if it was instant or if it was afterwards”.
