"What about you? What are your hobbies?" I froze, my mind going blank. Hobbies. Did I have hobbies? I'd spent so much of my life focused on survival, on building and protecting, on preparing for threats that I couldn't even remember the last time I'd done something just for the joy of it. A sheepish grin spread across my lips. "I don't have one either." She raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "There must be something you like." I thought about it, really thought about it, and came up empty. Finally, an idea popped in my mind. I shrugged, playing it cool. "I like to eat."
