My brows furrowed as I continued watching her swing her around and around until she released her, pitching her into a crowd of guys. “That’s what you get, skank!” she yelled after the girl. The silence in the room was deafening until Elliott yelled again “Aaron Wicker! Get your ass out here!” A moment passed and a beefy looking dude with short blond hair stepped out along with 3 other guys, all sporting football player muscles. Blondie sneered at Elliott, his hard face showing his obvious anger “Frost, what the fuck are you doing here?” She smiled viciously, her eyes going dark “I’m here to kick your ass as promised”

I nod wordlessly, she smiles, leading me to another door that brings us outside and to her backyard. She brings me all the way to the trampoline to jump with her. So I get on and we jump. Her giggle is infectious, our laughs blurring together. Declan joins us and we play a bunch of different games. One being popcorn, another being tickle monster. Riley runs around the trampoline, trying to escape Declan's tickles. He captures her though, seconds later laughter bubbles around us. "Stop, stop." Riley squirms. "I can't hear you." He taunts.

Cole might have been the clown in Jake's class but he sure as hell was a freaking celebrity to the rest of the school-or maybe just very popular. Yeah well,Who cares? Both of them sounded pretty much the same to Jake. The 'Halloween Hype danceoff'-as it was called, was way bigger than last year's, with more kids joining in the charade when of Cole's guys set down a Hi-Fi sound system which he had dragged in with him. Jack have a not so subtle cough, letting Jill know he was back in the room. "Jack!" Jill screeched. She stopped singing immediately. Her cheeks turned red. She was highly embarrassed. How long had Jack been inside the room? She turned the water off and reached for her towel. She wrapped the towel around her body and poked her head from behind the curtain. "Jack, how long have you been here?" Jill quizzed Jack. Jack smiled back at her, "Just long enough." Jill could die she was so embarrassed, "Can you give me a minute to get out and get dressed please?"

Holly peppered the leaders in the room with questions. “Holly, one question at a time. You need to re…” Clarence started to speak, but Holly cut him off. “Say the word relax to me, Clarence Donald Folsom and I’ll fly home and kick your ass.” Holly pointed her finger at the monitor with narrowed eyes on her cousin.

With those people out of the picture, Gerald then turned to look at the stupefied Hollie who was so terrified that she couldn’t even find the strength to move… Realizing that Gerald was now slowly walking toward her, the quivering Hollie then stuttered, “Y-you…! Don’t come this way…! I-I’m from the Smith family…!” The fact that she thought that she could use her family as an actual threat truly showed how idiotic this girl really was…

A moment later, Hollis enters the room, his expression serious. “I got a call from the—” “You’re late to the party,” Holly interrupts, not bothering to look at him. She rolls her eyes and takes another drag from the cigar. “Let’s all give a round of applause to Hiram, the most understanding brother. Nobody ever listens to me because I’m… what? Crazy?” Hollis presses his lips together, clearly annoyed by his mother’s antics. He turns to Anna, his face softening. “Mrs. Orbblood, I’m truly sorry your daughter got dragged into this. I promise she’ll be back soon.”
