Inside was a circular chamber, and at the center stood a pool of water so still it looked like glass. They motioned me forward. “You must see.” I approached the pool, heart hammering, and looked down. Reflections swirled—my face, then my mother’s, then a man with golden eyes and a cruel smile. And then… a shadow. A massive, horned beast with my dagger glowing in its chest. “What is this?” I whispered. “Your truth.” The woman touched my back. “Your father was king of the Hollowed Realm. A fallen god. Your mother was the chosen key. That dagger is the seal between worlds. And now… the seal is weakening.”

Reality cracked. The Hollow Creator ignored her. Its empty gaze remained fixed on me. “I finally found my daughter.” The universe stopped. Nobody moved. Nobody breathed. Even the Forgotten Ones seemed stunned. My heart stopped beating. The First Queen looked horrified. The Last Witness stumbled backward. The Nameless King closed his eyes, as though he had prayed this moment would never come. The voice inside my mind erupted. For the first time, the First Wolf sounded desperate. “Do not listen to it.” The warning came too late because the Hollow Creator smiled, and suddenly, another memory unlocked inside my soul.
