To be precise, it was Simon who had smashed open my front door with his men and slaughtered their way through. Sally, Serena McFadden, and the rest of my crew had died from stray bullets. I had broken down, screaming again and again, "I didn't hurt her!" Simon had ignored me and coldly pressed a button in his hand. With a deafening boom, the three core armories I had bled to build were gone in an instant. In this life, I didn't want him anymore, and I wouldn't hurt Giara. I just wanted everyone to live.

He set the untouched drink aside and reached for his coat. Fire had rules. Fire did not look back. Fire did not involve itself in accidents or strangers. But tonight, Fire had collided with something cold. And for reasons he couldn’t yet explain, Alexander Steele knew this was not just an incident. It was the beginning of something dangerous.

This was the river and the lights and his hand in hers and the city that had become hers and the apartment with the photograph on the wall and the forks in the compromise position and Sunday dinners and Lucia's wine and the ordinary extraordinary specific warmth of a life that had been chosen rather than fallen into. "Home," she said. "Yes," he said. They went.

In the house of Mr Fabi, a certain unusual silence was felt as from the period his wife was admitted in the hospital. The silence resulted from her illness, the cancer of the breast which she had that worsened as days went by. Her two breasts were differentiated from the rest of her body due to the fact that they were affected by the cancer. Imagine the sight of seeing your wife or your mother with her breasts off from her chest, looking like that of a flat man. The pain accompanied with pity won't even allow you to eat properly or sleep restfully.

No matter how strong they were, fire killed them. “We’re going to need to get them out of here and fast, the people would die if they get caught with fire” I said looking at my wife who nodded. Her hands shaking as she took in the sight that was in front of her. The people who were screaming in fear, some in pain, others at the losses of their families. The homes have burned, there were children crying, I couldn’t think of what my wife was feeling right now, but I knew that it was nowhere near being okay and I wasn’t even sure that the people would be able to get over this.

“I was thirteen. My parents and I were watching television. My sister was with my grandmother, but I really didn’t want to stay there. Gran was nagging me a lot, and I just wanted to be home playing my video games. I can’t even remember which one I was into. I was in bed when it happened. I just remember waking up ’cause I was hot, and then I saw the smoke. The house was on fire, and I didn’t know what to do. A kid who barely paid attention to anything, let alone fire safety.” I pull my shirt over my head.

Ken asked. “I succeeded in getting into his house and placed what I wanted in there and you think I wouldn't know a little detail like if he is home or not?” Williams said in disbelief "You did get help from within, so don't act like the all-knowing” “Is it time already?" Ken asked again “Yes it is," Williams said and after he spoke, the first fire started. It was not noticeable at first, but they were able to know due to the smoke the house brought. In their very eyes, one of the biggest houses in California was falling apart.

It's a good thing that the firefighters were able to retrieve her right away, because otherwise, she would have been with the ashes of our burnt house. According to the investigation conducted by the authorities, the cause of the fire that destroyed our house was due to forgetting to turn off the stove after cooking rice. Unfortunately, there was a plastic bottle with gas nearby the stove, and when the fire reached the bottle, it immediately burst into flames. Because our house was made of wood, the fire quickly spread and eventually consumed the entire house.

Already, firefighters had encompassed about the mansion and focused their nozzles on the garden and balcony which filters of fire had ravaged. Hurry up and put it out!” Tyler patted her back and gently assured her. “Don't worry, my house is equipped with a high-tech smart house system. Once the fire spreads to a certain point, the system will be activated and put it out.” Kelsey turned to face him with a doubtful expression. “Are you sure?” Tyler's voice was stout and full of gravity. “Of course I am!” Kelsey breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this. She was still slightly traumatized by the sudden sprout of flame just now.
