She had no apartment, no family, no future plans. She opened her bag and stared at the black card. Royalton Hotel. Room 807. She had sworn not to go. She wasn’t that kind of girl. She’d never done anything like it before. But she was cold and currently Homeless. And carrying a $35 tip in quarters. She looked up at the sky and whispered, “God, are You watching this? Do You even care?” The silence answered. Slowly, she rose to her feet, wiping her face. Her fingers trembled as she pulled out her phone and called a cab.

Isabella entered that huge old building full of small rooms and walked quickly to the tiny little room she had been living in for the past few days, locked herself in and sat on the cot she slept on, looked around and sighed heavily, now this was the only roof she had and although it was not easy to live in that shelter, because there she lived with a lot of strangers, many evildoers and ill-intentioned people, who had already tried to rob and abuse her on a couple of occasions, even so, she was grateful to have a roof over her head and not have to sleep outdoors, as she had already had to do before. She wished it more often than she wanted to admit. When she had been released from the hospital a social worker came to pick her up. She had been put into a group home for omegas for the few months she had left until she turned eighteen. It hadn’t been a bad place to be, but it was lonely and Anais was grieving. When she had turned eighteen, the state cut the support, shelter and resources. She was on his own in the dead of winter in New York with nothing but the duffle bag of her personal items. She had nothing, not even a high school diploma in the end. She made her way to a homeless shelter for omegas and spent a few weeks there.

She tried many things these last few days, but they were unfruitful. Still, she won’t give up. She would continue trying. She deeply exhaled as she pulled her jacket tighter around her body. Being homeless was hugely different. Sleeping outside wasn’t comfortable. She had short and shallow sleep. She would wake at the smallest noises. She was not resting well. Hygiene was another matter altogether. She had to find places where she can clean herself up. And then, she would try to look for part-time work. Odd jobs here and there. Showing up with her baggage didn’t help her case, but there’s no place she could leave them safely. People were less likely to hire her because of it, not wanting to

The night air was cool, carrying with it a silent plea for solace. Lost in my thoughts, I barely noticed the figure that approached me. It was a young girl, no older than ten, her eyes filled with curiosity and compassion. She hesitated for a moment before speaking, her voice soft but resolute. "Are you okay, miss? You look sad." I mustered a weak smile, touched by her innocence. "I'm just having a difficult time finding a place to stay. It's been a long day." The girl's brows furrowed, her young mind grappling with the gravity of my words. After a moment's contemplation, she offered a solution that seemed almost too simple.

Many of these children are passed from home to home until they are adopted, some with scars so great that even though they have a good family, they find it difficult to integrate into the world. **** Four years back "Hi young lady, while you are sitting up and weeping miserably late at night, don't you have a place to go," Skyler Liam, a beautiful aged woman, approached Ella. She was moved by her tears, especially with her swollen face and the mucus coming out of Ella's nose. "I am homeless, I do not have anyone to turn to for help, everyone hates me!" Ella said. This moved Skyler Liam so much, without hesitation she asked Ella to come into her car and drove her to her expensive multi-million dollar palace.

Caleb spoke to the girl with a smile. Tears welled up in the girl's eyes, and she cried, "That is the only food I've eaten for days. My mom is sick, and no one wants to employ me because I'm underage. A kind woman gave me the spoiled bread, and now you've thrown it away." Caleb frowned, realizing the situation was direr than he thought. He took a deep breath and said, "Here, take this." Caleb held out a wad of money, and the girl's eyes widened in shock.

It was the middle of fucking December and this poor girl had to strut around naked just to make a living. “No shit Sherlock.” I cursed. “How old are you? Really.” “S-sixteen.” She swallowed audibly. “How did you get here?” I asked, motioning to the other whores who were now watching the interaction with open interest. “M-my parents are dead…t-the debt collectors…they killed them…” she lowered her head. “I-I don’t have anywhere to go.” “Come with me.” I gave her my hand. “I’ll take you somewhere better.”

Then one day I saw this beautiful girl being hustled, I couldn't stand there and do nothing . I fought for her and even though I lost the battle, I won her heart. She told me that she had ran away from home and that she didn't have a place to stay, I was still sleeping on the park bench and I remember telling her that I will everything in my power to take care of her. From that point on we became inseparable. I got a job and in a month, I got us our first studio apartment. It was very small but at least we had a roof over our heads.
