However, Honey keeps on running at the plain pathway. Meanwhile, her mouth wants to tell him; hi, but she is ashamed.

Had she not heard what Don just said? Just when Don opened to speak again, Honey cut him off. "Isn't it about time we went somewhere else then? Sitting around has been nice, but how about we go somewhere where we can have some fun?" Honey stood up and brushed past her friends and Don without waiting for anyone else to speak. Fine. If he didn't want to join them for fun, Honey would go about having fun elsewhere for now, at least until he realized exactly what he was missing out on.
