I watched her sleep beside Micah’s small bed — one arm draped over his side, Zaya curled up at her feet. I stood there a long time, letting my heartbeat slow, letting the hush settle into something like hope. Because hope was dangerous. But tonight, hope was all I had.

Sebastian asks hurriedly, worry being written all over his face. Andrea opens her mouth to say something but nothing comes out. So, she closes it again. He looks back at Killian who is also looking awestruck. Looking back at Sebastian again, Andrea gives him a little nod before literally sprinting upstairs. Sebastian doesn't know how to feel. He just hopes he didn't offend Andrea too much. He doesn't have any stamina to gain positive points by playing saint. “Don't worry. She wasn't hurt. I guess she just didn't like that a handsome boy saw her going banshee on her brother.” Elias squeezes Sebastian's shoulder in a comforting manner, laughing at his daughter's tactics.

Alpha Daniel was still left dumbfounded and frustrated when she left. Hope got to the room and slammed the door angrily. She was pacing around the room thinking of what to do. “I can't believe he's bringing her back here so excited.” Hope said and put her finger in her mouth worried. She was thinking of the right step to take that'll make Andra change her mind on returning back to the pack house. “I can't let her return here.” Hope muttered to herself and picked her phone. She placed a call across to someone that might be of help to her, he has been her secret agent when Andra was In the human world.

Putting on my black high heels I give myself a last check before heading downstairs as I hear the first cars arriving. Arriving quietly behind my parents as they welcome the first couple – Alpha Zachary and Luna Rachel from the Blood Moon Pack, I step beside my father in time to shake Alpha Zachary’s and Luna Rachel’s hands. My mother and father give me a stern look, acknowledging my close to late arrival. I smile and continue with some small talk with Luna Rachel as Alpha Jackson continues speaking with Alpha Zachary and his Beta Sam. Luna Rachel is a beautiful woman. With her blond hair, brown eyes, and petite frame she is clearly the light in Alpha Zackary’s eyes.

They had uncovered a crucial piece of the puzzle, but the danger was far from over. "We need to tell Logan as soon as possible," Caleb said, his voice tense. "This could change everything." Andrea nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. "Let's go." As they made their way back to the pack, Andrea couldn't help but feel a growing sense of determination.
