She folded her arms across her chest and looked up towards the moon, her multicolored eyes glowing. "Shouldn't I be in our chamber? He might be looking for me" she thought aloud. Her heart began to race as she rose to her feet. She was already imagining all the things Yuka would do to her tonight. She looked forward to it. "Hazel Capellan Spiers" a raspy voice said from behind her. Hazel turned around with a start, her eyes widening when she saw a demon standing there. His left arm had been severed and he looked weak. She prepared to take him on but his next statement stopped her.

Why would he be afraid? My vision blurred, but through the haze, I saw him. Zayn rushed toward me, his mask slipping from his face. His eyes—usually cold and hard—were filled with something unfamiliar: horror. "Darling, what have you done?" His voice cracked as he knelt beside me, pulling me into his arms. I didn’t understand. His sister, Seleira, had been poisoned, and I was accused of the crime. Why should he care? But as his arms wrapped around me, lifting my body with care, my heart raced with confusion.

“Wow. How is this possible?” His mouth quirks shyly. “It’s possible. Trust me, I’m not the only one either. Mikhail is an angel/demon hybrid, Carrick is a werewolf, Rowan is a vampire, and my foster father, Alex, is a dhampir. Almost everyone I know is a supernatural being.” I huff in wonder. “Holy cow, does Haley know about Carrick? What about Nevaeh?” He shrugs his shoulders. “Um… Neveah knows about Khail, but I don’t know about Haley.”

Temporary marks aren't usually this intricate, but it would be strange to expect anything less from the Vampire Lord's mark. "Hope Black," I spoke and watched her take a deep breath. "You enjoy tempting the Gods, miss. Your Mates were only a teleport away, yet you chose to let yourself be marked by the Vampire Lord." I cannot hide my displeasure. "Lord Mikaelson is the closest person to me and..." Hope starts to explain herself and at the moment I'm standing in front of her, holding her by the chin and forcing her to look at me.

But he was out in the sun... “This is Mikhael, he represents the vampires in The Order,” she gestured to the hooded guy who gave me a curt not, “and Cesar; the wolves’ representatives.” The one on the left gave a curt nod.

Most werewolves loathe them and after the humans were defeated, they were put at the bottom of the society. But the Emperor and Empress were kind to Roseanne and her father Mikhael. In fact, Mikhael is a gifted healer and witch who has been summoned to the court under the Emperor’s request. As a witch, Mikhael’s identity is kept a secret because witches are extremely powerful humans who possess knowledge on a variety of powers. During the Great War, they were at the front, killing many werewolves and vampires in the process.

Power spread out across the battlefield, freezing every fighter in place. Even Marcus looked afraid. From the southern tree line, a figure appeared. Tall and gaunt, wrapped in shadows that moved like living things. Heriberto. The warlock had finally arrived. "This is taking too long, Marcus," Heriberto said, his voice cold. "I gave you the power to capture her quickly. Not to play with her." "She's stronger than you said," Marcus protested. "Of course she is. She's the last Mikelson." Heriberto's eyes locked on me. "Hello, little one. You look so much like your mother."

It was the proof that the DNA test turned out to be false. There were no flaws there because it checked the lineages to the point of seeing the magical traits. All of a sudden the water turned very green. That made everyone start talking, and Theo cursed. “I'm going to make his life miserable,” Theo whispered, and I restrained myself from roaring. My father looked annoyed, as did my mother. “This young woman is a full-blooded Mikaelson,” my father said. “She has a very strong bond with her father, and for that, she should be recognized as such.”

Micah braced the table to balance himself as Laurie rushed to his side. "Alpha?" Micah held up his hand to signal he was fine, but soon, another surge hit him harder than before. Micah closed his eyes and felt a burning sensation on his neck. There was a faint symbol of a mark he received from Melania, and now it was reacting to something. Or someone. Mason. "I can feel it," Micah said in a whisper. "Feel what," Laurie asked as Mason touched the side of his neck. "Nova," Roman said again.

She struggled momentarily to fend off my grasp but she stopped as her pupils started to glow gold. “No, Maria. Please.” I pleaded again. I knew she would hurt me just to help her friend, her coven mate. I glanced at the car, parked across the road with enough distance for Collins not seeing her eyes' transformation. The faint screams and shouts from the parking lot made it obvious to Maria that her friend was in trouble. “Do not let me repeat myself, Luke.” She grumbled. I suddenly thought of my dagger tucked in my back. I could not reach it; my both arms were constrained to her.
