Isabella, Amelia, Bianca, and Sophia had all been trying to get in April's way, but their efforts were tempered by their fear of Lucifer. Mikhail had returned a week after his call with Lucifer, bringing Jessica with him. However, Lucifer's erratic behavior persisted; sometimes he was kind, other times he was a beast, unable to understand his own heart's desires.

Alpha Makahi, Montego, Misty, and Ryane: Makahi was killing Lycans left and right but couldn’t seem to reach his parents. He was killing and throwing Lycans out of his way, Deigo had joined in also killing them. “Have you still not been able to reach them?" Montego asked, as he snapped the neck of a Lycan that was about to attack his alpha from behind. “No, maybe they’re just unconscious.” Makahi said, knowing that was impossible with the number of Lycans inside the jet. They both heard a loud deafening scream, and knew immediately it was the screams of the witch. They could only hope that she was being killed, but knew that it would be too much to ask that the witch would just die already.

Dexter snarled at the sight of Mia, and Eros looked like he was seconds away from murdering someone. "Alpha king!" Mia dropped to her knee, eyes on the floor. "The elder has requested your presence on campus." The atmosphere dropped at her words, and for some reason, I felt like Eros had something to do with the growing hotness in the room. Eros hissed, stepping away from the dead body and facing Mia. "What happened?" "Someone was killed at the golden dormitory," Mia said, shocking me. "What?!" Dexter roared. "Skye Munroe," she said. "One of the strongest females in the Academy." Mia cast a look at me before continuing.

I got into bed and wrapped my arms around him after placing an extra blanket around us. I pressed a kiss to his jaw and rested my head against his hard chest. "Do you think she can help us for real?" I asked and he let out a shaky breath. "I don't know, Athena. I really don't know. She said she has a book which describes the realm of smoke and bones. But, I don't know what to believe" Mikael croaked. I genty patted his back and let out an exhale.

Takes a visible breath. "Neah." Her voice cracks on my name. "This is Micah. He is one of us." "One of us what?" My voice sounds distant to my own ears. "One of the twelve. From the list." The world tilts. The list. The USB drive. Twelve names. Most marked terminated. Two marked unknown. One of them was me. And standing in my driveway with eyes that glow gold is the other. "Micah's mother was Subject Four," Elena continues. Her words come faster now. Like she needs to get them out before she loses courage. "She died protecting him when he was sixteen. He has been in hiding since his markers activated two years ago."

“Hello?” A deep male voice spoke. Cold. Controlled. Familiar in a way that made my breath catch. “Dr Westmore.” My fingers tightened around the phone. “Yes… who is this?” “You’ve already met my daughter.” “…What?” My blood ran cold. Before I could say anything else, he added coldly. “This is Alpha Damian Mikaelson.” The world stopped, I felt a chill ran down my spine. And before I could respond, he added, “I expect you at the hospital tomorrow morning.”
