LOST AND FOUND

LOST AND FOUND

The air stank of smoke and blood. Behind them, the horn sounded again. Louder. Closer. Eryndor’s reinforcements had arrived. The iron doors of the inner keep slammed shut behind them, shaking the stone walls as the great locking bar dropped into place. Wolves shoved their shoulders against the wood, bracing it as the first battering strike from outside thundered through the hinges.

Between Closed Doors

Between Closed Doors

“I will go out quickly.” “No,” Jordy said immediately, grabbing his arm. “Not through the front.” Matt frowned slightly. “There is no other exit.” “There is,” Jordy said quickly, pulling him toward the side of the house. They moved fast now, urgency replacing caution. But as they reached the small hallway near the side storage area, another sound came from outside. Keys. The front door unlocking. Jordy stopped completely. Matt did too. For a moment, neither of them moved. The door opened.

Havermouth, Present Time They entered through the front door and Heath paused by the hall stand to take everyone’s jackets and the umbrellas as they entered. There was a flurry of activity as the items transferred from Aislen’s house to the river house were redistributed. “What do I do with… this?” Cameron regarding the wine box that he held in confusion.

Fantastic follow up to the first book. I keep going back to the first one to reread the corresponding chapters. It’s so good to see all the perspectives. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Such a clever way to present a story. I’m hooked. I’ll read anything this author puts out at this point.

The Feral Alpha’s Rejected Luna

The Feral Alpha’s Rejected Luna

Diana At the northern border of the Zervos pack stands a towering black wrought-iron gate, its intricate design serving as both a deterrent and a symbol of authority. This entrance functions as the official entrance into the territory, the only way permitted for guests to enter. My car rolls to a smooth stop in front of it, the engine purring beneath my fingers- a stark contrast to the tense anticipation thrumming beneath my skin.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

On the center of the door was a symbol: A wolf swallowing the sun. And beneath it, etched in laser-cut letters: FENRIS - POLAR OUTPOST ONE RESTRICTED ACCESS: ALPHA CLEARANCE ONLY "We found it," Jack whispered, staring at the gate. "The front door." "Great," Ben said, looking at the smooth metal surface. "No keyhole. No keypad. No doorbell. How do we get in? Knock?" "We don't knock," Jack said, his eyes hard. "We ring the bell." Suddenly, the ground shook.

The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

Long, leaf covered vines strung the expanse of at least two thirds of the entire building. A large wooden sign that read ‘TwentyOne’ in large Old English lettering that was burned into the wood, hung off a set of chains that were centered across the top peak above the door. The door itself looked to be oak, and it was completely solid. There was a large iron knocker in the center of the door that looked like a Griffin.

The Lost Heirs

The Lost Heirs

A canopy of verdant leaves looms above, curious beams of sunlight sift through the leaves as if trying to glimpse us, new visitors. On the horizon, a Hades-black gate soars and lengthens in height. I spot a security booth in the left-hand corner in front of the entry, two armed guards manning the booth are outfitted in a burgundy uniform. Dad slows the car to a halt, right before the tall iron gates. Both bristle and unwelcoming with a row of wrought thorns on its head, except for the letter moulded into the centre. A. Dad’s window slides down halfway and soon a man’s head appears behind it, a military-looking gun positioned across his chest, so large it occupies both hands.
