They were midway across the path, in front of a cemetery when suddenly graves started opening. "What is going on?" Isabella asked, clutching onto Chris tightly. Chris was suddenly sweating so furiously but Ariel was cool and her face was blank and devoid of any emotions. They stood there watching six tombs open and six scary-looking ghosts walked out. I never realized how peaceful humans look when they are in the depths of deep slumber. Just by looking at one you would think all well within the world, and maybe it is but not in my world. With each new song, the guests were enveloped in an even more eerie and mysterious atmosphere. At some points during the party, the music was interrupted by sound effects such as screams macabre laughter, and moans, which added to the sense of suspense and mystery. All the leaves were bleeding profusely and following the direction of the slurring lines of blood, it rained on some pale skulls littering around the spooky ground. The creepy skulls gave me goosebumps and when I heard a thunderstorm struck against my roof, I almost jumped out of my skin as I visualized myself standing there in the forest. Yes The air was stuffy, making it difficult for me to breathe. The trees were staring at me like silent sentries. My heart was throbbing in my ears and in an attempt to get rid of the terror, I bit my lower lips till I felt the metallic taste of blood in my mouth which brought me back to life.
