I grinned. Rina snorted. “I’m a little annoyed by people trying to turn classic literature into horror shit.” Kimi and I looked at her in surprise. “So, you prefer pure horror?” I asked. Rina rolled her eyes. “Have you met your sister? She’s all about the jump scares and psychological thrillers.” I wrinkled my nose. “So is your brother. I’m not going to lie, Blood and Chocolate and Warm Bodies were a compromise. As was Shaun of the Dead.”

Killer instinct- a tale of unspeakable horror

Killer instinct- a tale of unspeakable horror

It gave us enough time to plan everything. There was a sharpening feeling of pangs in my stomach as I played the execution of our plan over and over in my head. The most of it was brought by fact that I was to act alone and Billy will only provide transport to and from the battlefield. I had to be scared. I was just a girl who came to the world class African city to enrich my mind with knowledge and make my family proud. Not to kill people. Immediately I thought of the reward. As sickening as it sounds, me being able to secure Billy as my boyfriend and MINE alone gave me enough courage and will to want to get rid of the problem. I deleted the fear from my mind by placing Billy’s face in it.

The Ascension

The Ascension

He spoke a few sentences with the author and in no time Nathan realized that Ley wanted to take advantage of his profession to spread the words around. It would still be horror. Elements of supernatural were okay to include in them. But the general would be one where the characters would make their believers have some conception of a certain belief. “Make it a rumor.” Ley said. “Rumor?” Nathan’s creative mind immediately conjured scenarios where several people who encountered ghosts in the street or in the hallway of haunted places would say these to their acquaintances, ‘Hey, do you know? If you speak of the name Ley Baler in your heart sincerely, you won’t meet any accident on the road, or

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

Nightmares

Nightmares

Her granny called her almost everyday just to know what she saw the previous night and Juana would tell her everything. Sometimes, Juana didn't see anything at all, sometimes she saw good things, but most times, she had nightmares. When her granny called to ask about her dream the night after she saw something about avocados, Juana refused to tell her about it because it involved someone dying. The person was dying. Not dead. She didn't want to imagine any of her parents or even her granny dying, when she tried to, the imagination hurt her so much she got bad headaches. Juana felt like telling someone about it, talking to someone about her whole life, but she wanted a neutral person because

Not Your Luna

Not Your Luna

Horror struck me like lightning, and I knew then that my worst fears had come true - my old pack and family had been brutally wiped out. “Hallie get back here now.” Hugh ordered me as he and Alpha Arnie chased after me, attempting to calm me down, but it was too late. I was already consumed by a need to uncover the truth. Ignoring their calls, I sprinted onward, disappearing into the maze of corridors within Moonstone Manor. Each corner I turned revealed more and more lifeless bodies, my heart breaking with every sight. The hallways felt suffocating, as though every step I took was leading me deeper into a twisted nightmare.

Divine hearts among the sky

Divine hearts among the sky

"Damn you, Annabelle." As I continued my solitary journey, the shadows cast by the towering trees became more menacing. Each twist and turn in the road seemed to reveal hidden horrors, imaginary figures lurking just beyond my peripheral vision. My overactive imagination conjured images of malevolent entities hiding behind the gnarled trunks, their eyes glinting with malicious intent. A shiver ran down my spine as I quickened my pace, desperate to escape the oppressive darkness that enveloped me.

The True Nature Series

Or did she? "I always thought," she said, "that if I were to write a horror story, I'd write about the hybrid child, perhaps the offspring of a vampire and a human." "They can have kids?" asked someone on the front row. Mrs. Jackson shrugged and winked in my direction. "Who knows? It's my story and anything can happen. That's the thrill of being an author."
