Born By Power : Chaos And Apocalypse

Born By Power : Chaos And Apocalypse

" I took out the book at one and it levitated itself and its pages flipped at such speed to an unknown page. The next act raised tension, my palm getting colder and sweaty. The pages slowly began to fill its empty sheets, drawings and writings, a few in English and the rest in sigils and signs. The first drawing I saw, was a three headed beast, it looked like a hound, or a dog. Drawn as a black and white art, shades of the body noticeably seen, bringing out details, the saliva dripping from its flappy mouth. I looked underneath the drawing and I saw a tag. "Cerberus, Hireling Of Hades." "Did that book just flip?" Asked Maria. Concern drawn over her face as she slowly walked closer and peeped

Destined By The Moon Goddess

Destined By The Moon Goddess

Everyone gasped in awe, but I was pretty sure that I, Derek, and Patricia were more frightened than amazed, especially me, and especially after witnessing what it feels like to be electrocuted. " What is that?" Derek asked, almost shouting, bringing his knees to his chest and hugging himself - I never knew he was such a drama queen. The older vampires in the room seemed to know something about what had just happened, something like, where it came from and who sent it, but they were momentarily flabbergasted, too surprised to check it out. Without a word, my father reached out for the paper and handed it to the Maester. The paper was folded and sealed with a red substance that seemed like can

Bound to The Devilish Alpha

Bound to The Devilish Alpha

As I delve deeper into the file, my heart sinks at the sight of stamps bearing the word 'dead' imprinted on the images of people who died in their partial werewolf form; claws out, teeth out, hairy body. With each turn of the page, my nausea mounts, causing my hands to tremble uncontrollably. Though these faces are strangers to me, their death twists a painful knot in my gut and fills me with a shaking sense of sorrow. The disease Gavin mentions surpasses anything that I could have imagined. Suddenly footsteps approach, distant at first before rapidly growing closer. My heart hammers and I'm sent into a frenzy of panic. Shit. Shit. Dimitri was supposed to hold them for five minutes but I'm p

There's just a whole lot of mismatch and the story keeps losing the reader even from the first few chapters. If you can endure figuring things out from your brain, then you can go ahead and read - but if you are used to more skilled writers, then give this a pass.

I love this book so much...it's so good even though there were issues here and there and the storyline can be a bit confusing at the beginning. I did enjoy it and had a good time reading it. Love Dimitri and Lynexia dearly.

Reclaimed by My Alpha

Reclaimed by My Alpha(Reclaimed by My Ruthless Alpha)

I flipped to the next page. “The voice won’t stop. Keeps telling me what I am. What I’ll do. Monster. Killer. Can’t escape it. Can’t make it stop.” The next page was worse. It didn’t even make sense, not that the first two pages did, either. “Blood. Blood. Blood. Blood. Gore. A knife. Need the knife if I’m going to complete his ritual.” The rest of the page dissolved into illegible scribbles. I kept reading. It was page after page of the same thing. Fragmented thoughts about death and blood and murder. Some of the words were truly vile. Some in all capital letters, others written so tiny they were like the text form of whispers.

I really enjoy this novel and hope to see more, as it’s been 2 months. I miss the original cover and how it reflected the FL’s strength and leadership. The new cover suggests a very different kind of story. Please bring back original cover, or hope future artwork better reflects the story.

I love this story! 594 chapters in and I still find myself captivated by it. The characters, the world building and the evolving nature of everything is so fascinating. I’d love to see what happens next, and I really hope this continues!

Horror Game? Looks Cute

Horror Game? Looks Cute

This was the punishment. At some point, green smoke crept in without warning. The temp plummeted. I shivered, and he slipped off his cloak, wrapping it around me. "Don't be afraid," he murmured. Afraid? Not even close. My perception glitch had me kind of... hyped. "They're back!" Mia yelled. "Grandpa and Grandma are back!" The door creaked open. Two shriveled elders shuffled in. Chat Feed went wild: [It's them. The revenants. Nobody survives past this.]

Curse Of Tethys, Hellblades Series Part 3 of 3

Curse Of Tethys, Hellblades Series Part 3 of 3

The horror in my chest tightened, but I couldn’t look away from the altar. Atop the altar was a human skull, its surface marked with strange, precise letters. They formed a perfect square shape on the top of the skull, a palindromic Sator square. The letters were deeply etched into the bones, forming the Latin phrase Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas. I stared at it, horror filling my veins. Nowhere in the books I had read did it mention anything like this during a summoning exam. My heart constricted with the terrifying weight of my mistake.

Captured By A Ruthless Billionaire

Her body tensed up the moment she felt someone behind her. Her heart started pounding again, but she refused to be scared. She turned around in a defensive stance, then gasped when she saw a zombie doll standing there, staring at her. It was holding a lit torch, the flickering light casting eerie shadows across its creepy face. After a few seconds, Valeria noticed a folded note sticking out of the doll’s chest pocket. She quickly pulled it out, took the torch from its hand, and moved to a brighter part of the room to read it.

SAVED BY THE LYCAN KING

SAVED BY THE LYCAN KING

They were images of blackened houses, broken bodies, and trembling survivors murmuring in fear. “They said they saw… shadows with horns,” Eden whispered. “They said the shadows walked through fire and didn’t burn. They tore through flesh like paper. One old man said he saw a child disappear in the blink of an eye. There was no blood. No scream. Just… gone.” Sophia paled. Her fingers trembled as she reached into the folds of her robe and pulled out a tattered, leather-bound grimoire. She flipped the pages quickly. “I’ve read this before,” she muttered,. “Long ago. When I was a child. The signs… horned shadows, vanishing people, soulless fire. It’s not mortal.”

Queen

I half chuckled “Leda. Just Leda, and it's perfect, thank you Mathias.” I pulled the first file toward me and flicked it open. The pages spilled out; several handwritten documents and black and white photographs of dying/dead figures; some of whom looked practically decomposed. I swallowed the bile that rose in my throat and closed my eyes. “Hence my concern Leda. These victims do not die quickly – it's horrific.” He quietly flicked the file closed. “Are there different levels of vampire then?” “What do you mean?” “You said those like the grey guy-”
