From the other side, it was as if a cold wind was blowing and enveloping the body with the icy breath of lifeless emptiness. There was no sleep! Yarsi groaned again. AS I STEPPED INTO the hallway, the pitch-black paint nearly left me in the dark, but I was used to it and soon enough my eyes adjusted to the lighting. Curved into the walls were vines decorated with spikes. The carvings are as pitch black as the wall itself, so anyone who got too close to the wall would be sliced open by the spikes. I wasn't looking at the spikes, though, but at the things hanging from them. Thousands of little objects hung from the spikes: necklaces, bracelets, watches, etc. I took every piece from a corpse the Nightmare Master forced me to massacre.

I nearly trip in my hurry, but thankfully make it up. The creatures follow behind, stumbling and crawling up each step, trying to reach their prey. I’m about to turn to the left-wing of the house when another form appears from the shadows, followed by several other revenants. It’s Sahara. The revenants stop in their tracks, their mouths gaping open as bile droops from their grotesque mouths. Moans and groans resound across the hallway; we’re surrounded.
