The next second, the Patchwork Monster tore the man in half. He tossed the body outside casually. Just then, a crisp, bell-like voice sounded outside. “It’s after work hours, who’s so rude as to be throwing bodies around?” A young girl with three heads and eight arms appeared at the doorway. With just one look at the shop, anger filled her voice, and her hair stood on end. “Who the hell had a death wish and smashed the Number One Must-Eat shop in the entire horror game?”

The shadows awakened and took the shape of petrifying ghosts. A chest-less and armless man with a face covering his mouth as big as a sewer filled with flies; teeth as large as the fangs of a vampire. His neck ended a little below his face while the area of the chest was air. Around his legs, he wore his black long hair as trousers. A black cat with one eye remained attached to her master. The earless girl stood in the middle wearing her bloodied ears on her breast; spiders ran across her body leaving nothing to the eyes. She had no iris. In her right palm, a pumpkin with eyes sat opening its huge mouth often.

"By the gods." The light showed what was really there. A figure made of bark and shadow. Crouched at the fire edge. Like a puppet man. Face carved with the queen's smile. It jerked around. Whispered from a bunch of mouths. "He will kill you, witchling. When he remembers what you are." Selene threw more light on it. The puppet shrieked. Threw itself back into the trees. Dissolved as it ran. The rest of the mist fell apart. Left quietly. And the burned earth smell.

That's when it dawned on me, the paths had been changed and I was in the dead land. The creatures of the dead were humanoid, skeletal beings that were half rotten. They were said to have been created when a great sorcery landed on a public graveyard decades ago. They didn't arise unless they were triggered by some sorcery. It was clear someone was behind all these. They charged at me at once, their bodies twisting at an unusual angle. I jabbed my hands straight to their necks, tearing it off as my shadows strangled the ones that tried to get close to me.

Lucas moves around the room, he come across a room where the light is bright and decorated. The words on the banner sends dreadful feeling into him.
