“I never will.” But then— Behind him— A pair of headlights appeared at the edge of the forest road. Slow. Silent. Deliberate. A motorcycle. Black as night. No rider visible. She suddenly looked up at the giant screen. "Mason!" she cried out, her voice trembling. Then she drove away at full speed. No one dared stop the car. Joanna pressed the gas to the floor and reached the studio as fast as she could. By then, the studio had already been surrounded by police. Joanna tried to rush inside but was stopped. "Ma'am, this is the scene of a death. You cannot enter." Joanna was about to lose her temper, but one sentence from the housekeeper drenched her in ice.

I got her to wait outside while I cautiously walked inside the house and the first thing I saw was blood spatter all over the walls. I walked through all the rooms when I found a woman and a man in their bedroom. They were both still on the bed but they were lifeless and didn’t have any color. They were definitely dead. I looked through the rest of the house and I found an older boy, about 10 years old. He was the same way in his room. So I walked out the front and I grabbed Amora’s hand. “Come on sweetie. I’ll take care of you now. You don’t have to worry about those mean people coming back.” I said as I turned her away from the house.
