Matt's blood flashed before my eyes, his neck was torn open, and his spine was sticking out of its place. A blood-curdling scream escaped my lips as I collapsed to the ground, darkness taking over me.

Kael and Mara screamed as their skin split open, slow and brutal. They hit the floor, begging. "Yaya, we're sorry! We didn't mean it! Please—let us go!" I didn't blink.
