Horror Writing Contest 2023 Novels & Stories

This was apparently a momentous event held every year and the old man's euphoria and gaiety was beginning to infect the students. “The contest, ‘Vestige of the Aptest’, spans for three days. On the third night—which is always a full moon, is when the chosen contenders are expected to have gone outside Golden Lake and into the woods and come back, too, with a golden orb that's ever glowing.” The man's pale eyes opened wide at the mention of ‘ever glowing’. “Of course, of course,” the man said again, waving a shaky hand in the air without much regard, “we will not put our students in danger on purpose so you all can be rest assured that the contest will be contender, nature and Golden Lake fri

"Attention students may I have your attention please. Tonight is our night. We would be hosting a party for the undead. Where all monsters and humans are welcome to party!!. Time is 10pm and don't forget to look spooky, Muahhhhhhhahahahah." It was after the announcement our economics teacher walked in as we started dealing with the principles of supply. The class lasted for an hour and half immediately after that we were all dismissed giving us time to go and prepare for the party tonight. Especially those who would be performing tonight. Hazel on the other hand currently hasn't written her poem for tonight and she was already having a panic attack. I decided to take her to my house so we co

Taking your idea, we can give out an assignment early in October to pick a piece of horror literature—modern, Gothic, poetry, whatever each student wants—and from that we can learn more about him.

The time to The Heros contest is one month to take place officially. A vehicle will take Hana and Roley to the venue on that day. Only now, Hana doesn't know where the competition venue locate. The following day, however, Namio informed her that there was a secret meeting for this year's contestants, and it obliged. Hana didn't suspect and followed the guide. Before she left, she left a message for Jackson. Then go ahead with Roley.

“In fact, he’s been honoring that contest with his presence since the first day. Always sitting in front, cheering that little girl called Phoebe.” My throat tightened. Dorcas stepped closer. “Now listen, Nora. This contest only holds once in every five circles of the full moon. Children between the ages of four to six are the only ones allowed to participate. Liora will never get this chance again. She will never be five years old twice.” I looked down slowly. “You’ve seen how far she has gone,” Dorcas continued. “It started with over a hundred children. She worked hard and made it to the final five. You can’t deny her effort.”

I ask, starring into her dark brown eyes. "Well, the fiction competition has a specific topic." She says, getting up and walking over to a filing cabinet. Miss Edwards is about 5' 5" tall and very well proportioned, with a thin waist, flat stomach and a tight, curvy ass. Her ass gets as much attention as her tits when the guys are discussing what they'd like to do with her. "The subject this year is ethics and morals. You'd have to write a short story with a main character who is struggling with a moral dilemma." She says, handing me the entry form and rules. I guess I know the subject pretty well, but I'm not sure I could submit a story about my current moral dilemmas. "Would you be able to

But who knew that the fantasy romance novel would suddenly get turned into a horror novel. 'Halloween's Party', a game where selected people gets chosen to participate in a supernatural survival game. Those selected people are called as the ‘Players’. It is said that if you complete and clear 'Halloween's Party' you will get what you desire. No matter the wealth, beauty, power or even immortality.

I quickly scanned the papers—it was actually a solid idea. We were the ones to hold the workshop while they handled the contest afterward. The winners would have their work published by Arrow Publishing, with their names on it, and even a chance to be scouted as new writers. I looked at Lathan. “Have you seen this?” I asked. He shook his head. “I’m actually waiting for you. If you like it, I’ll sign it.” Kin and Enzo cleared their throats while Sierra covered her mouth to hide her laugh.

"I will kill all the members of your family if you do not offer yourself to me. I will bring you to the situation when you will intentionally come to me and plead to save your family members by offering yourself to me." Amara walked helpless towards the haunted mansion. She felt numb and lifeless for the happenings around her. The words of the sage begin to ring in her ears. "It will be the dark night without the moon, the onset of heavy storm and the shrill howls of dogs. There will be an unfathomable clamor present in the atmosphere, the unwelcoming cries of the eagles and the uproar of tumult yowls from everywhere around will be the indication to alert you it was the one and only day in y
