“Robbed? Who said anything about being robbed?” Alyssa dropped her shoe. “Chief,” a deep voice called out from the bedroom she’d been sleeping in. “You should take a look at this.” The older officer nodded once and turned to follow the decidedly handsome detective. Alyssa couldn’t help but take in his muscular build, thick thighs, broad shoulders, and scruffy chin, despite the suit he was wearing. She might be broke, grieving—and now accused of cooking meth—but she wasn’t dead yet. Officer Hottie was the best thing she’d come across in days.

But, Bartholomew Carter and his video blogs tell a different story. The evidences that he showed in his videos say that Kevin Shunn is a corrupt cop with hideous background. Carter had proof that Kevin murdered more than half a dozen prostitutes, not to mention those who survived, but had the worst tortures anyone could ever imagine. Now, people of Haverville despise the Police Department more than they already have. "This has to stop. The Scent of Death needs to be stopped. She has killed more than enough people. Everyone is out for our blood, now. This can't go on for much longer." The Haverville Chief of Police announced at their morning meeting.

We were sitting in her room catching up, we hadn't seen each other in two weeks. "Yeah, he should be here soon." Mia replies. Diego Garcia is our other best friend, Mia, Diego, and I have been inseparable since we were seven years old. Suddenly, the door opened, "I've arrived," Diego shouts. He always does this. He's a very dramatic person. Diego Garcia is a hacker for our mafia, along with Mia, much like me, Diego and Mia never go on missions. We mostly work from our warehouses. "Stop screaming, Diego." I scold him jokingly.

Maybe one day he was going to help me. “And that one with a blue suit...” He said, directing my attention towards another one, and I followed his gaze. “I see him,” I answered when I spotted the guy. He looked like an office nerd who knew nothing about crime and loved watching soccer. “That’s Lorenzo Lombardi. He’s the COP in the government police department. He helps when one of us has trouble with the law,” he answered. I didn’t take notes of that one because he wasn’t of any use.

Lucky enough I got hired in one attempt of my application. And now, I am considered one of those amateur cops in our department. But the coolest thing about our job was that they already assigned me out of the field to catch some bad guys with Mr. Denver, our chief Captain, and his partner in crime, Julius, who was technically in charge of my future in the department. Speaking of bad guys, we were currently parked in front of a twenty-story commercial hotel. An anonymous concerned citizen tipped us that "The Alpha's Puppets" were on the loose again after a few years of being dormant.

he replied "Oh well, I'm Freddie Johnson ". A young lean man replied. He looks like he fed on drugs all his life. He had a drunkard look and personality already. "I'm inspector Ryan" the police man said. "So, you said you all here to talk about the Werners? "Yes" the drunken looking man started. I only worked for Eric Werner.

This is good because anyone who follows me needs to put their egos and patriarchal views aside. I’d never expected to run into the cop from the protest after meeting with five of my clan that runs things in Chinatown for us. And why I say ran into, I mean literally. That man is solid. And he’s flirty and sexy. I’m digging it. I’m also digging his hair down like this. It’d been under his cap when I saw him last, so I assumed it was short like so many other cops I’ve met.

I said calmly " you didn't give us much of choice, we tried reaching out to you but your assistant said you don't talk with cops" "I guess now you know why" he spread his arms pointing out the current situation " You cops are so Good at pointing fingers to anyone you see fit" "That's not true Mr Dominic" I cut in. " We make sure the streets are safe for civilians by locking up criminals like you" "criminals like me?"He let out a mocking laugh " Listen closely Monroe. There is no one on this planet like me.
