Fur sprouted from my skin, enveloping me in a cloak of ethereal white. Once fully transformed, I stood tall and proud as a majestic creature of the night. My fur, glistening in the moonlight, bore the color of freshly fallen snow. It was as if a piece of winter's enchantment had woven itself into my very being. Each strand of fur shimmered with an otherworldly glow, casting a pale radiance in the darkness.

The guard sneered and hung back in the hall as I strolled cluelessly around. The Blackwolf territory is extremely cold compared to the Whitewolf territory; it was known for its cold climate and plethora of evergreen forests. Although everyone was banned from speaking of the Blackwolf packs, most of the elders of my pack often joked about sending extremely stubborn children to the Blackwolf territory and telling them they were going to freeze to death and the ghosts of the Blackwolf pack were going to haunt them. It worked because most of them changed for the better.

The villagers called them Fur-Killers. They attacked things in fur and always won. Mirabella's mom knew that and so did Rafe's father. These men would not leave if they didn't eliminate the wolf pack. Someone had to hold them off for the others to escape. "I'll hold them off, get everyone to safety" Mirabella's mother said out loud. "We can't leave you here. You'll die" Rafe's father spoke next. "I wasn't planning on living without my only child and husband" she looked into the eyes of the Alpha. I chuckled, "I can't have you going on a rampage. Reece still has his uses." His big head reared back as he bared his canines at me. "Someone is fucking with you, and you're still unfazed?" "If I let what I feel within myself show, even a tiny peek, this whole place would burn to ashes." A low growl reverberated in my throat. Fuyu furrowed his thick white brows at me, his red eyes glowing with the need to tear through flesh with his sharp claws. For a bloodthirsty killing machine, I wondered how his fur still remained white as snow.
