The pineapple platter was a huge surprise. I’d ordered a fruit bowl with my waffle. It was really cute, served like a tiny Edible Arrangement. A few strawberries cut into roses, some lychee (surprised the hell out of me), mango cut into star shapes and one pineapple slice cut into a daisy. It looked like a beautiful bouquet growing up out of a kale garden. Fantastic presentation but the lack of pineapple was off putting. If Blake wouldn’t have gotten that pineapple platter, I would’ve had only that one piece. (It was a decent size and delicious but it would’ve left my pineapple fantasies sadly unfulfilled.)

I ordered thin crust ham, pineapple, and green pepper.” “Got it in one. That’s my favorite. Although I don’t know if I can really enjoy it without watching my brother pick off every tiny bit of green pepper with a look of disgust on his face.”

Charlie pushed the dining cart closer to the bedroom door. The cart contained two carefully prepared dinners, including homemade milk rolls, creamy porcini soup, stewed vegetables, and his specialty, Boston lobster. Mike said making me smile. I finished the slice of pizza and Harvey grabbed me another slice and I took three pieces of pineapple off and gave them to Maddie.

The plates were already set out on the bar counter and I was finishing up then potatoes before doing a final assembly of the sandwiches.
