The pineapple platter was a huge surprise. I’d ordered a fruit bowl with my waffle. It was really cute, served like a tiny Edible Arrangement. A few strawberries cut into roses, some lychee (surprised the hell out of me), mango cut into star shapes and one pineapple slice cut into a daisy. It looked like a beautiful bouquet growing up out of a kale garden. Fantastic presentation but the lack of pineapple was off putting. If Blake wouldn’t have gotten that pineapple platter, I would’ve had only that one piece. (It was a decent size and delicious but it would’ve left my pineapple fantasies sadly unfulfilled.)
