"Come on. One last night before we throw ourselves into three consecutive suicide missions. Who's with me?" I expected Walter to shut him down. Expected Dracula to forbid it. Expected someone to be the responsible adult. Instead, Willow smiled. "Why the hell not? We've earned it." "The alcohol is in the east wine cellar," Dracula said, not even looking up from the maps. "Third shelf from the bottom. The vampire wine. Don't drink more than two glasses unless you want to hallucinate your own death." "Noted!" Brady was already heading for the door. "Brady," Dracula called after him. "That was a warning, not a suggestion."

Can someone hand me a cellphone, when you’re flying, bats tend not to carry such things I hand my cellphone over to Dracula? He dials his son’s number. Make sure to put the call on speaker. Why would I want to do that? He asks me. That way we can hear if there is any noise in the background. Oh, I see, in case my son tries to do something else stupid. Exactly, I tell him.

Darcy had just warged into Cahir and the Grand Maester instead of the wolf and dog. “Darcy?” Ava’s voice was a strained whisper, but Darcy didn’t respond. She remained motionless, her red eyes fixed upon the men she now held captive. Axel, for a moment, forgot his fury, feeling a deep shiver as he witnessed the unleashed supernatural power of his daughter’s Lycan heritage. Darcy’s body didn’t respond. Her eyes remained blank, her face unmoving, as if frozen in time. Axel’s heart raced, panic creeping up his spine.

Mother earth opened up and cried out loud, witnessing the death of her children was more than enough. In the battle field, Dracula hovered over the furious black wolf, Ephesus, who stood claws out, with wounds and cuts, signs of restless battle. He studied the malicious bat attentively, taking in his movements. Once he had the chance, he bounced on the tree with extreme agility before the giant bat could see. He stretch out his claws on the air, planting them on Dracula's wings, they both beast dropped to the floor with Ephesus's claws tearing the bat's wings.

They had to speak Romanian, right? Wait, Transylvania was in Romania, right? In the novel Count Dracula? Yeah, that was the case. I haven't read that book in years, but I remember the funky town name. Did that mean there were vampires in Romania? I mean, that'd be such a cliché, but were there? I've never met a vampire before. What if Xaveraq had connections with the vampires? He was keeping Callista with the werebears, did that mean he was keeping her in Romania with the vampires?

The sign of a Lycan King. He stalked toward me, the predator closing in on its prey. "Dr. Vale," he growled, his voice a deep rumble that vibrated in my chest. I stood my ground, though every instinct in my body screamed Run. "You broke my window," I said, my voice steady. "That’s going on your bill." The Lycan smirked. It was a terrifying, beautiful expression. "You’re the Viper?" he asked, stopping inches from me. He smelled of gunpowder, rain, and sheer, overwhelming power.

"When Zol captured you we had no other option but to change you. It was Steph, well it had to be Steph. Zol just triggered him. Look at these holes. It’s where Stephen bit you. It’s similar to Blaze but these mere holes soon turn into spots. But the bond mark by Blaze will be prominent as the sun. It’s like an arc carved on your skin. A permanent tattoo. When a Vampire turns you, the venom in your system blocks everything. It stops your heart. It stops your blood flow. Letting your body adjust to the change. Hence the answer to your question. You wont breathe anymore. Your heart wont beat anymore. You are reborn without a heartbeat. You... Are no more human". Zee held his hand. They were all

I immediately approached the man. "Is that true what you said earlier?" I asked vehemently. "Hah? Who are you?" asked the man confused. Hayley immediately approached us. She pulled me back a little."He's my acquaintance, Leo. So Mr. Eriksen, is it true about what you said earlier?”Hayley asked the man. “Yes, if I'm not mistaken they found an injured female vampire. They chased until a castle that turned out to be a den of vampires." "When did they attack the vampire?" I asked carefully.
