How Dare You Fire Me Does Your Father Know Novels & Stories

When he turned his gaze at me again, his eyes were already red-rimmed. “Willow, let me see Artie just once. I’m his father after all…” I gave a scornful smile and blocked his view. “But our son doesn’t want to see you. “Ever since you missed his last birthday, he has never wanted to see you again.” I shut the door, leaving him with one final remark. “Logan, you don’t deserve to be Artie’s father.” He called out my name and Artie’s over and over again until his voice broke into sobs.

My dad looked up, annoyance sparking in his deep blue eyes. “Don’t sit,” he snapped. “Whatever you want to talk about, you shouldn’t be in here long enough to have to sit.” Well, okay then. I came to a stop behind the chair I’d been about to sit in and put my hands on its backrest. “John Honeyball. I wanted to tell you I just fired him.” “What?” He frowned, his ice-cold demeanor shifting to severely irritated. “Why the fuck would you do that?” “Because he was a liability,” I returned confidently. My dad was not a gentle man. Even as a child, he never mollycoddled me. He was all business, all the time. I wasn’t intimidated by him, but I did respect him.

“Damn it, dad! Are you seriously defending him, right now? They’re not drunk! How can you defend a stranger but not me?! Your daughter?! They’re already engaged before he approached me!” Vale gritted her teeth as veins appeared on her neck and forehead. The only thing that was distracting her right now is Keith trailing wet kisses on her neck. “Where are you?” her father asked. “My friend’s house.” “Are you despising your parent’s home now?” “No.” she sternly replied. “You’re going home. Tomorrow.” “What?! No, dad! I need to work-” “Don’t lie to me! I know you’re fired!” How did he know about it?

PYKE “You’re screwed,” Dad mumbles under his breath. I can’t believe Dad said that word. Sighing helplessly, I shake my head repeatedly as I watch Camila walks away. Megan follows after shooting me a glare. “You need to do something before you will lose her, Pyke,” Dad continues. My head snaps at him. “Do you think I don’t know that? You just worsened the scenario.” “I called you here to explain not to blame me,” Dad whispers through gritted teeth.

he yells hoarsely. I feel like I'm in a whirlwind of accusations, unable to say anything in my defense. I remain silent, my mind racing. "You know what a piece of shit you are, and I won't let you ruin my plans anymore," my father states coldly, his disappointment turning into fury. "I haven't failed at anything," I protest, trying to assert myself despite his harsh words. "I am punishing you. You'll be confined to the house until further notice, and I don't want to see you talking to that Eve," he says, his voice cold and resolute. My heart skips a beat, realizing he knows her name, and I wonder how much else he knows.

I said coolly, leaning back in my chair, "that he's no longer welcome at the company. He's fired. Effective immediately." He stared at me for a long moment, his brow furrowing as if he hadn't quite processed what I'd just said. He blinked a few times, then let out a soft, disbelieving laugh. "You're…firing your father?" he asked, still staring at me like I'd grown two heads. "I mean, not that I care or anything, but that's your father. The man who—" "The man who what?" I cut him off with a raised brow. "Made my life a living hell? Who took everything from me and threw me out like trash? Yeah, I'm firing him. Why are you so shocked?"

His words froze me… not because he sounded honest, but because I knew deep down… I wasn’t the only enemy in this story. I stepped back, chest heaving. He collapsed to his knees, coughing and shaking. “Pack your shit! You’re fired.” My voice was low, cold, final. “You’re done here. And if you breathe a word of this to anyone…I swear I’ll finish what I started.” He nodded rapidly, wiping blood from his mouth. I turned and stormed out, slamming the door behind me. As I walked out the hallway my phone rang.. my father. I didn’t want to pick up because he betrayed me but then I did

“What happens when you release me? Do you really think I won’t tell? I will ruin your life-” “You already did,” he ground out. “I just got fired today, did you know that? You’re the one fucking older men. I did your father a favor by showing him the pictures and he fired me. He didn’t exactly fire me, he just told me that he thought I would be a better fit at another company and he told me that he had spoken with a friend and gotten me transferred.” “I don’t see the problem. You’re not out of a job and knowing my father, you probably got the same pay.”

"I got fired, Dad. But I'll find another job, I promise." "And now, what are we going to do?" "I don't know, Dad... What was my father hiding? As much as I wanted to respect his privacy, I couldn't help but wonder if his concerns ran deeper than he was willing to admit. I told him I got fired, and he hardly showed any reaction. There was something strange in the air, and I was determined to find out.

Scarlett's POV I stood frozen in place, hearing my father's words. I wanted to laugh it off as a joke, but my father and I didn’t have that kind of relationship. We had never had a conversation that lasted five minutes without disagreeing for most of it. So if he said I had been fired, it wouldn’t be a joke. “What do you mean? I didn’t do anything wrong, so why are you pushing me out!” I screamed, but my father only glared at me.
