Mathilda

Mathilda

“Can you not read the title?” I looked at the cover of the book. But I knew that was not the title for I could see the make-shift cover, hiding it. I did that too. “Yes, but I am asking about the real title.” “You have good eyes.” She took off the make shift cover, and now I could read the real name of the book. It was “One Hundred Ways To Kill A Liar.” And I was lying to her. “It is a forbidden book, so don’t tell.” What she said was more of a command or a warning.

Let's talk about the synopsis! LOVE IT! It is so spooky and mysterious like when you're like; "I swear I didn't steal your WiFi password! Or did I? *with a menacing smile*" I'm still going to leave another review for the chapters. I just felt like this awesome synopsis deserves a review of its own.

The narration itself brings you deep into the book. There's this something I can't point to exactly, but the way the author leads it, the more I just want to get drown into the story. Not just that, but this story contradicts the 'soft girl main protagonist' ad I LOVE IT! MATHILDA FOR THE WIN!

Forced To Marry A Broken Monster.

Forced To Marry A Broken Monster.

I closed the door behind me and walked over to the bed. I slowly and carefully remove the book off of her face, and she didn't budge. I picked up the nearest object I could find, which was her nail polish, and placed it between the paged of the book where she had stopped, and closed it before setting it aside on the night stand next to the bed. I then walked to the other side of the bed and carefully pulled the covers away so I would be able to slid in next to her. That made her stirr a bit, and her eyes fluttered open.

The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

Cole brings it to me, sitting back down on the couch while the kids roll around with their toys on the rug in front of us. Maeve is slack in Aviva’s arms, both of them fast asleep on the opposite couch. I smile at the image and quietly rip the paper away. It’s a book. Smaller than average and bound by fresh leather. There’s no title engraved on the cover. I look up at Cole, thinking he’d be smiling and a little pink in the cheeks in anticipation for my reaction, but he looks grave. I open it. It’s a printed rendition of the Book of Whispers.

is someone stealing your books. I red a story almost identical to this a few weeks ago but I can't remember the name of it. The girl was running from a bad pack though and ran into the alpha who offered a proposal to her to be his breeder for protection. Everything else is identical

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

Hypno Halloween

Hypno Halloween

He had decided to bring it to school with him. The moment he turned it up to look at the cover, the voices immediately left him. He observed the cover again, feeling the five-pointed star with a circle circumscribed around it. He went on to open it. To his surprise, the book was sealed shut but he could feel some movement. It was like all the pages were glued together. ‘Come on, you stupid book!’ Jake grabbed at it and heaved his arms, pulling hard from either side. ‘So much for gym class!’

 Beauty and the Alpha

Beauty and the Alpha

Nothing major, just something to drive him the teeniest bit crazy. Like how she leaves books laying on the coffee table, opened and face down to mark her place, rather than using the bookmark that is tucked in between the last few pages for safe keeping. He sees the multicolored tassel hanging down and yet she persists in laying the book down to mark her place, messing with the spine of the book. And to make matters worse, all of her books are wrapped up in those colorful book covers that young school girls put on their textbooks to make them feel prettier. He can imagine that she has the holographic notebook and the scented glitter pens to match.

I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY

I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY

~IVY~ It's another day in the library and Roxie is pretending to read about the anatomy of werewolves while I think of the Ebon Testament. I eye the cover of the book warily. “You know, if you keep using that book cover for all your erotic novels, someone is bound to suspect something.” With her face entirely hidden by the book, Roxie asks, “And how will they notice?” “Won't it be strange that you've been reading one book for straight three weeks?” I ask. “A werewolf anatomy book nonetheless. You should change the covers.”

I stretch up on my toes and pull it out, and seconds later I succeeded like I always do when I put my mind on things. Sending a cloud of dust motes swirling into the air while allowing it for a moment to escape from the shelf, I blew the dust from the cover. There were no words printed on the front or spine, just a simple black leather binding cracking with age, and strange symbol I do not recognize.

...... Never read a book well written like this before. Full of emotions, and surprises. The cliffhangers are just............ I don't know what to say aside from the fact that it's soooooo good! I'm happy I had seen this in the most popular stories section. Hope it will be on the front page next......

The Bodyguard's Temptation

The Bodyguard's Temptation

She rocked back and forth on her heels, a nervous smile twitching along her lips. I want to laugh, but I remain professional. I’m supposed to be an expert in all things seduction and sex. I can’t break my cover now. I gently spell out her name before writing my unique yet generic as all h*ll personalized message. After that’s done, I scrawl out my signature, ‘G. Blake’ and close the book once I know the message won’t smear. I slip into the first few pages, a business card, a special bookmark, and a couple of stickers before I place the book in a printed small tote bag. A final touch of an art print of the main characters, and I then finally hand the bag to the reader. Nice and quick. Only ni

Tangled Destinies

Tangled Destinies

“Come on, give me a hand with this while you count down the minutes.” He placed the book on the table in front of her and started explaining the process. “When a book gets wet, the pages swell, and if it’s not dried properly, it can be ruined. The key is to press it gently and use blotting paper to absorb the moisture.” Marcus demonstrated, placing sheets of blotting paper between the damp pages. Lila watched intently, her hands mirroring his as she helped with the repair. She felt a little more at ease focusing on the task. “This is interesting,” she admitted. “I didn’t realize there was so much to saving a book.”

However, there was no clear indication that this family heirloom belonged to which family, as no surname was written. Since he was sure that this book was it, he took out a piece of cloth and carefully wrapped the book with it, and then he placed it into his jacket pocket. He had learned this method from some TV program. By putting on gloves and wrapping the book with a piece of cloth, he could avoid leaving his fingerprints on it.

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.
