The Alpha’s Girl

The Alpha’s Girl

Symbols moved subtly across its surface, shifting like living script. She placed it gently on the altar. “This book,” she said quietly, “doesn’t belong to anyone, It decides who can use it.” She rested both hands on the cover and closed her eyes. Slowly, she tried to open it but nothing happened. The book didn’t resist violently, it simply refused. The cover remained sealed, unmoving, as though her hands weren’t there at all. Ms. Joyce frowned. She tried again, murmuring words in an old language I didn’t recognize. The symbols on the cover glowed brighter for a moment, then dimmed.

I’m enjoying this book, has some unexpected twists I did not see coming. But there are some inconsistencies in the storyline. The main villain was said to be stuck in his wolf form and could not change back to human form, but then in later chapters he’s fighting the male lead in human form?

Lead back to You

Lead back to You

He shrugged, his own concentration stuck on the book. He was curious as well as I was. Finally, I gave the book a long scrutinizing look, turning it this way and that all the while buying Neilla time. It was a book alright, one without a way to view its content. It had a vial like structure fixed into the hard cover on the front. In that vial was blood slushing as I moved the book about. It was off-putting in every way including the foul odor emanating from it. I flicked at the cover with my middle finger, raising my eyes in surprise when Sapphira flinched.

Let me Fix you, My broken Mate

Let me Fix you, My broken Mate

I mumble, heading to my office. I sit down in my chair and put the book on the desk. I look closely at the cover and realize it isn't leather, but some soft dark skin, more on a fur than the normal boom cover. My guess would be some.random animal with fur but I think sime fur isn’t smooth as this. I turn to the first page and mutter a curse under my breath. I read the tiny scrawl with widening eyes.

Stealing the Heart of Mr. Steele

Stealing the Heart of Mr. Steele

Grabbing a large one, I hide the test inside. Praying that my blush isn’t obvious as I giggle nervously I raise the book above my head. “I needed a break and wanted a new book, so I came over here and thought I’d try something different.” “Oh,” he looks at the title. Blinks twice, and then responds, “I’ve heard that one is pretty good.” I take a moment to look up at the book. On the cover is a picture of a woman wearing a dress with a torn bodice locked in a romantic embrace with a handsome centaur. The title implies something regarding the size of his anatomy and I feel myself burning in embarrassment.

Reclaimed by My Alpha

Reclaimed by My Alpha(Reclaimed by My Ruthless Alpha)

I pulled it out and held it up to the torchlight. It was a book. It was small but thick, the cover made of dark, cracked leather. Most of the pages seemed to be intact, although they looked very brittle and yellow. Just then, something moved on the cover. I yelped quietly and nearly dropped it. A large, pale spider skittered its way across the surface and disappeared over the edge. I shook the book once, gently, and it plopped to the floor and scurried away. Looking back at the book, I turned it over in my hands and wiped the dust off the cover.

Obsidian Eyes
I really enjoy this novel and hope to see more, as it’s been 2 months. I miss the original cover and how it reflected the FL’s strength and leadership. The new cover suggests a very different kind of story. Please bring back original cover, or hope future artwork better reflects the story.

I love this story! 594 chapters in and I still find myself captivated by it. The characters, the world building and the evolving nature of everything is so fascinating. I’d love to see what happens next, and I really hope this continues!

The Alpha's Revenge

The Alpha's Revenge

Perhaps, the heaven was looking out for me finally. As assumed, there was a book. Black cover, golden spine. It was the book. I took it and examined the top. It was a strange book with a foreign languaged title and root-like thingies coiling it from every side. I tried to open it, but they were preventing so. Then it came. The sound of the front door closing. A tremor ran through my heart, and it didn't run away. It held my hands and legs in a clutch. With a shaky hand, I inserted the book inside my dress and pushed the vault door closed. With difficulty, I put the painting back in its place and ran to the door.

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

I opened it and found myself entering a smaller version of the library downstairs. There was no swirling staircase going up, up, up, rather walls full of books, some of which were only accessible via the sliding ladder off to the side. With my stomach full and heart heavy, I waltzed over to one of the shelves and scanned them, intending to pick a book at random. One in particular drew my eye. The cover was made of dark leather, embossed with a swirling gold font that was a bit hard to read. Tendrils of flame, interwoven with threads of shadow, danced up the spine and around the back.

The Book is Amazing! No need to debate, It's Jane of course it will be a masterpiece! I'm always fascinated in a multiple fated mates, aside from It's spicy lol, It also shows why someone is mated to many. Like what Orion said, Blakely fits them three; she can juggle Azrael's chaotic nature,...

I normally hate to spend the amount of money needed to finish the story faster. Because honestly I don’t buy real books for 50. Bucks. However, I really liked this story so I caved so bad. The characters are engaging and I really hated to see it end. Azrael will always be a sweet memory. Great work

I was never Human

I was never Human

"Come with me." We followed her through the dimly lit building. It's lit like this to preserve the integrity of the documents that are stored here. We followed Heather to a room. Inside, there was a table with books sprawled on it. Some open. Some closed. One particular book stood out to me. I closed in on it immediately. It's an old book. Its cover leather, with vine like spiraling, to hold it together. The bordering of the book is encased in some type of material like metal. In the center, it read a name.

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

CHAPTER ELEVEN In the library, Maud and Agnes were hunched over a large book. Its cover was a battered ring binder, and the pages were a mishmash of handwritten pages, photocopies, and typed sheets. Agnes had pulled the book from a drawer in the nearby desk, and Maud had watched with fascination as her friend carefully transferred the tome to the desk, the cover moving as though the pages were alive. Agnes was barely able to keep the contents secured within the binding.

His Maid (ENGLISH)

His Maid (ENGLISH)

he said bluntly even though I hadn't finished speaking. "It's just a case-what are you reading? You've been focusing your attention on that book before." I crawled on the bed and tried to see what he was reading but suddenly he hid it behind him. It looks like he doesn't want me to read that book or he's just stingy now. There is nothing written on the cover of the book, it is very plain, the color of the cover is black ... tsk, he really likes black. "Why don't you let me read that? Maybe you're hiding something ??" I smiled angrily at him. Maybe he reads love stories so he doesn't want to look at me because he's shy!
