How Long Should Book Chapters Be Novels & Stories

Author's note- I am so thankful to all the lovely readers of my first book "Anything For You". Like you have showered your love for my first book, keep supporting me here too. This book is a short one with approximately 70-80 chapters. The plot is quite different from the previous book. Also, the book is not edited yet. There may be some little errors. Keep supporting me and keep loving me. If you enjoy the book, do recommend your friends too. Without readers, a writer is nothing. Enjoy the chapter.

That series is intended to have four books, one for each dragon. I'm still trying to figure out a posting schedule with the two books. Richie's story is written in my head and is ready to be put to paper, but The Arena is my husband's favorite. Writing 17-20 chapters a week is tough, but mostly manageable. So I may divide the number of chapters each book gets each week, rather than focusing on one while the other finishes. That would mean one possibly two chapters a day for both books, rather than two chapters a day for one and three chapters a week for the other. I'd love your input and what your preference is.

Anyone wants to help me with editing of chapters ? I am thinking of having some rederss to help m with it . You will have to edit at least hundred or thousand words per day. Since that is the amount of words that are right and fourth chapter or somewhere around two thousand I'm not sure if you are interested or not but just a sort of helping me since I'm overloaded with other work but I can write the chapter and give it to you and then later on you can see and edit them hope that works out

She knew it was honest. The second book was seventy pages into its first draft. The chapter on the long middle was the hardest chapter and it was going slowly and she was not rushing it. The second book would take two years, probably. She had two years. She had more than two years — Petra was right, the room was large. Darius read the seventy pages in a single evening. He said: "The chapter on the long middle is the best thing you've written." "It is not finished," she said.

But before him, he had some other things to be taken care of, other things like, Bree Lively. ______________________________________ Hey guys, I wanted to clear one thing, I don't know why you guys think the chapters are short when I have always written the same amount of words. My chapters had always been from 1500 words to 2500 words, and sometimes I write longer when i feel like it's needed to be written longer in a chapter otherwise my minimum words had always been 1500 words and then go on. Whenever I write short chapter like shorter than 1500 words I always mention in my author note and apologise for it, but last chapter was 1600 words and this one is 2100 words.

It was harder than the speeches. That was the thing I had not fully anticipated. The speeches required me to be present for an hour and then it was over and the presence could end. The book required me to sit at a desk in the kitchen in the early mornings before the children woke and return to the material day after day after day, to pick up where I left off, to carry the story open rather than being able to close it at the end of a session. I wrote the second chapter over two weeks. The third chapter took three.
