The words are readable even though the author has written this in a hurry. What does he mean? I flipped the next page and read the last line, "The girl will die if she gives birth to his child. And if she dies he will hunt the whole city." Who is the girl and who is he. It's CONFUSING!! I wanted to throw the book in the dustbin but something inside me pushed to read further. I relaxed in my seat and flipped the first page. But it seems not only the first page is missing, but there are also up to 30 pages are missing. The book totally has 60 pages, each has 12 to 15 lines.

REMEMBRANCE. Aurora's P. O. V. (Eight years old Aurora at the mountain magic school) I stood behind the Jasmin plant, my fingers fidgeting around the hem of my dress. The fog around the mountain today is intense as the season had recently just changed from summer to winter. From the distance I could see the spider web around the arm of a tree outlined with the help of the water droplets hanging all around it. The plants are green and the mountains smelled different today. Everything about being here today was beautiful, but I didn't care about them. As long as I could watch Kael StarSeeker.

The page he had opened was burnt off. “This is the second book with Odette that has a page missing just when it's about to become about her!” he declared, the tone of his voice increasing in irritation. My heart dropped to my stomach once more as I quickly flipped through the pages of the book in my hands. But just as Cassian had observed, the pages of the book with me were also burnt off at the page that was supposed to be about Odette… “No… No…” I mumbled as I quickly started flipping through the rest of the books.

"I was wondering if Hecate told you about a book called Knowledge?" I froze in his arms, the mention of the book making my stomach tighten. I looked up at him, and his gaze softened as he noticed the shift in my expression. "So she did. Actually, there are ten parts to it. I have one, and the rest are scattered across the world. So—" He set me down in the tub, and I couldn’t help but feel a little out of my depth in the intimacy of the moment. The water started to fill around us as Hades kept speaking.

It all looked very interesting. I turned a few more pages. "How far are you with translating?" I asked him, while still running my fingers on the words that continued to give me a funny feeling. I turned to the next page and my breath hitched. "I'm on the 74th page." He answered and I looked down at the page number I was on. Page 501. He still had a long way to go. My face flushed and I couldn't get my eyes off the beast I was staring at. The book had no images with colour, but I could already imagine the creature with bright glowing green eyes.

I was standing in the center of the library, staring at a first edition of The Odyssey I had bought years ago. I wasn't seeing the book; I was seeing Clara's face, flushed with defiance, accusing me of forcing a straightjacket onto her brother. The heavy silence that had fallen over the house after her dramatic departure was grating on my nerves.

Because I have a very good feeling that what Rory has just signed on my cast may as well be my death sentence! END OF PART I. My book will be divided into several parts... to show the end of one part of the characters lives and the beginning of another.
