Mr. CEO, Marry Me On Conditions [The CEO's Replaced Bride]

Mr. CEO, Marry Me On Conditions [The CEO's Replaced Bride]

I turn around and take a look at those. "They don't feel the same anymore", I tell him. He immediately frowns in confusion. "So, you got bored with ROMANCE?" "No. But there's a reason", I say, leaning against the shelf and placing my palm over the books. Then I slowly trace my hand over them. "And the reason is—" he leans back too, a foot of distance between us but we can clearly hear each other whispering. "People who read romance, mostly women—" I giggle. "They want to escape reality. So, they can find more beautiful things in fiction"

What a crazy journey of emotions and luv!I loved the way their relationship developed. I was concerned about the length of the book bt every chapter was a wholesome package.no unnecessary drama and misunderstanding between 2leads yet catchy conflicts and turns.this book is more about emotions.luv it

I'm so far loving Tiffany and Sebastian's storyline. I recommend the first part of the book. obviously better than the second part. second part is slow but I'm loving it. If anyone has a problem with the length they can simply read first 150 chapters. still love the first part more. Highly recommend

The Bad Boys Club

The Bad Boys Club

I used to think romance novels were silly. I mean you would agree with me that some things in romance novels don’t make sense. For example, whenever the main characters kissed the sensation of the kiss was described as an electric feeling and I always wondered why a kiss would feel like electric pulses in my veins and who wanted to feel shocked by electricity while they kissed? But right now I’m beginning to think that maybe I have been kissing the wrong people.

(Lancelot’s POV) The novel “The Love of My Life” is a story best suited for teenagers. That being said, some of the topics discussed in the novel weights heavily on romance compared to other elements, world building included. Because of that, the scale between the love interests’ life stories and others’ life stories tipped unfairly to the love interests’ side. Not like I have any problem with it when I read it. Because, I’ve read somewhere before that other than fantasy books with hellishly long storyline and particular world building, books which was written to suit the romance genre shouldn’t depict too much of characters’ other than the main characters’ life.

Fall in love inside a novel!

Fall in love inside a novel!

Elle sat at her table and stared at the laptop, “A romance novel, eh?” She heaved a sigh shaking her head, “What the point it was all cliche, he ate my ears complaining how bad it was.” She pouted sulkily. She opened the laptop regardless and placed her fingers on the keyboard, she closed her eyes and took a deep sigh, “Fine, let’s give it a go,” She nodded determinedly. With the start of the novel, her fingers moved in a flow, the words went in a flow, she spent her day and night in front of the laptop, 3 weeks later, her book was done, she wiped her tears as she stared at her completed manuscript.

he uttered. "Could you maybe just walk me to a hotel?" she finally suggested. (Hi everyone! I'm sorry for any misunderstandings. When I began writing this story, each chapter was between 2700-6300 words. Due to the cost associated with the lengthiness, I've had to divide the word count up to make them more affordable on this app. As you can imagine, this has caused far more chapters than I intended.)

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending! It was definitely a little slow to get going - the first like 25 chapters seemed to drag on, but once it picked up, it was very intriguing and well written. Recommend reading - good job author!

“But I need to practice my descriptions!” “What?” Nate asked. “Descriptions for my books,” Rose took a bite of her cheese sandwich.`Kam and I rolled our eyes at the same time. “Rose, I swear those books you read are just porn with a plot,” Kam grumbled. I couldn’t help but grin. He’s not wrong. From what Rose has told me, her web books are filled to the brim with sex, sex, and more sex. “Stuff like, ‘The orgasm was so intense, I felt the ground rumble,’ right?” Nate said as he rolled his eyes. “Shit like that is in my ma’s paperback romances.”

I'm not promising that though 😅. AN: I want you guys thoughts on this question, *sigh*. I'm conflicted, very conflicted on how to describe Nathaniel's character because in my book where I've written the manuscript of this book although, it's a very short story with maybe 28 chapters. I described Nathaniel as a dark lover in my written manuscript but with you guys now, I'm having second thoughts of changing him to cheesy, lovesick guy yet possessive though I've already changed him to that.

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

"Really? How do they even know about it yet?" "Word travels fast in the romance community," Robert explained. "When established authors start talking about breakthrough novels, people pay attention." Jake leaned forward slightly. "Emma, what Robert's not mentioning is that several bestselling romance authors have specifically asked to read advance copies of your manuscript. That level of author endorsement is rare for debut novels." Emma looked around the table, seeing genuine enthusiasm for her work from people whose opinions mattered in the industry. "I honestly don't know what to say. Six months ago, I was struggling to write a convincing love scene."

Frequently Asked Questions

Romance novels are such a delightful escape, and their word counts can vary widely depending on the subgenre and target audience. For mainstream contemporary romance, the sweet spot tends to be between 70,000 to 90,000 words. This length allows for deep character development and satisfying romantic arcs without dragging. Historical romances, like those by Julia Quinn or Lisa Kleypas, often run longer, around 80,000 to 100,000 words, to accommodate rich world-building.

Shorter romances, such as category romances from Harlequin, usually clock in at 50,000 to 60,000 words, focusing on tight, emotional plots. On the flip side, epic romantic sagas or paranormal romances can stretch beyond 100,000 words, weaving intricate plots and expansive universes. The key is balancing word count with pacing—readers crave that emotional payoff without unnecessary filler.
