Bianca was startled and quickly turned to say, "Grandpa, he's been out of town for a meeting recently and won't be back for a while!" "But, why do I feel like he's here?" Mr. John said abruptly, sniffing his neck as if he could smell Frost in the air. "No, Grandpa. He flew to Green City a long time ago and will visit many other cities after that." "I want to see him, I want to go downstairs!" Mr. John said, his spirits getting stronger and seemed more determined to act on his thoughts, wanting to get out of bed. Bianca quickly stepped forward to support him, and to her surprise, saw sharp nails growing on Mr. John's fingers as he reached for the bed.

Dylan responded dryly. "Ok, wow Dylan. That's a very passionate statement. And John...no. Not me. I was out of that phase in college. Plus I'm too old." Pearl said, sipping her beer and rolling her eyes. "What are you, like 27?" Dylan asked, almost sounding annoyed. "I'm 34. Going to be 35 next month." Pearl smiled. "But thanks for the compliment, if it was one. Hard to tell with this guy John, he seems to speak in sarcasm."

Amber POV Silence followed. Not the kind that invited comfort. The kind that forced truth to settle. Jason stood. The movement was abrupt, sharp enough to cut through everything that had just been said. “You said that was when I turned four,” he said, his voice steady but edged with something deeper. “But I was with them when I turned five.” A pause. “How is it that I’m missing a year?” No one spoke immediately. Mr. Sun sighed. Not in annoyance.

Maybe he wasn’t such a kid after all. “Why don’t you rest, John? Would you like some ice?” “Oh, babe, ice isn’t going to help. All I need is you, here, beside me. You’re so hot, Mackenzie. Don’t you like me? Not even one bit?” He leaned forward and caught her arm. Mackenzie closed her eyes. Regardless of his incredible pecs and rippling chest, John couldn’t be more than nineteen, maybe twenty. And, moreover… he wasn’t Wyatt.

Grace teased, "Look at you, big guy! You're a head taller than Stella; what harm is there in her pushing you around a bit? It's not like you're going to lose a pound for it." John was in the midst of his prime growth spurt, shooting up to a towering six feet in just a few months, nearly matching Lucas's height. John retorted, "Sometimes, I feel like I'm the bonus prize in a family plan." Jokes could go too far, and Stella, worried that John might take it seriously, quickly reassured him, "Don't be silly, kiddo. We're just messing with you. Each of us is vital in our family of four; we wouldn't have it any other way."

As he loosened his tie, he said, "John Xenos is a 40-year-old man. Are you sure you want to divorce me for that old fart?" Without warning, he leaned over and rested his arms on both sides of the bed. Towering over her, he looked deeply into her eyes. "Are you sure he can satisfy your needs?" She did not reply to that. Quentin had no filter when he was in a fit of anger. Since when had she stated she'd date John, though? Quentin glared at her. He cautioned, "A 40-year-old man is on his way to physical decline." He seemed to be stubbornly waiting for her answer.

John walked towards me and took my suit jacket that I’d passed to him. “Good afternoon John.” John is my 60 year old butler. He witnessed how I grew up since my grandparents took care of me. He’s like a father to me. He gives me advices when I needed and he knew how long I’ve been searching for Arhean. I walked upstairs to my bedroom while John followed me. I stopped in front of my bedroom door. “John I saw her.” The words that came out from me. I heard John gasped. “ Really? That’s a good news. Where is she?” He asked me. I turned around and saw his smile. I know he’s happy for me. I looked at him with my serious face.

Whether I needed a shoulder to cry on, or wanted to share good news, I knew I could depend on him. Alex let go of me and turned to John, giving him a simple nod. “John.” John, looking very grim, returned the nod. “Alex.” When Alex turns back to me, his usually animated face goes blank for a moment. “Oh, my. Did I interrupt something?” I blush thinking there is just no innocent explanation for our state. John flashes a dangerous smile, “You noticed!” his voice dripping with sarcasm. He’d always seen Alex, who was two years younger than him - 27, the same age as me -, as a rival. I knew that it had something to do with how they were raised.

The scene ends as John's walks out of the house and looks up at the sky, thus, he saw as a fourth star was already springing out of nothing to make the fourth realm. Light fades.
