Ignoring Joel’s warnings, I stride over to Zade and Izzy, pushing myself right between them without hesitation.
“Something wrong, Gray?” Izzy asks with a smile, though there’s a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“Go see Mom,” I mutter, watching her walk off. I don’t care that Zade’s probably about to give me an earful. This is not happening. Not on my watch.
“For fuck’s sake, Gray, we were just talking,” Zade says, laughing as though this whole situation is some kind of joke.
“She’s eighteen, Zade. Eighteen. And you’re thirty!” I argue, glaring at him. “That’s a twelve-year age gap! Don’t even try it.”
