Striding across the room, he took a picture frame off the bookshelf near the door and handed it over to Leo. It was a photo of him and Caleb when they were right around Leo’s age. Leo’s eyes widened in surprise. “Oh, wow,” he said with a chuckle. “I thought you guys were exaggerating.” “Nope. You got his face.” I glanced at Jaxon. “Can’t deny he is yours even if I wanted to.” I said jokingly. Jaxon gave me a pensive smile, like he couldn't decipher if I was actually joking or not. “You might end up taller than me, though,” he said, taking in the boy’s height. “Maybe,” Leo said, but he looked pleased about it.
