Second chance at happiness

Second chance at happiness

Mira ducked into the space once she was on her own. She sat by the stream, staring at the fish swimming happily in the water. “How can I resolve this without bringing trouble upon myself?” she mulled softly. “Am I being greedy, wanting to hold on to my happiness?” “Greedy… yes.” Mira jumped in fright at the aged—yet soft, almost soothing—voice. This was her space. How could anyone get in here? She nearly fell into the stream, but a firm arm caught her in time.

Dirty affairs with my mom husband

Dirty affairs with my mom husband

That was the reason why I never wanted to pick that call because I know that if you heard that you were going to be mad , please baby please don’t leave me here alone all by myself, I already had a stressful day , you don’t really want to add to it . I begged him, holding on to his shut , I had never been so helpless . This was going to be my first time living all alone by myself and the last thing that I wanted was being here all by myself. I never wanted that to happen , I could never let that happen to me ever ever . It seems like my words had a very good impact , because the next moment he stopped putting on his clothed and turned to face and this time he had a smoke on his face .

Midnight Phantom

Midnight Phantom

She added, with her absurd usage of metaphor. I wanted to laugh, but my face hurt to move a muscle. Maybe, being alone wasn’t going to be that bad. In that way, no one will get attached to me. No one will ever harm me again. It’ll disappear from anyone’s life. Nobody will be able to touch me. “I’d rather get swept away by that raging current than continue living this miserable life.” I deadpanned. The idea of being alone anyhow started to appease me. This happened because I am connected to someone. If I cut all the ties, no one could ever harm me again.

Unwanted By The Beta

Unwanted By The Beta

And I can do so much better. And in all honesty, I don't even feel like I need anyone in my life anymore. Well, except for my parents of course. I have learned to appreciate solitude, where I can work for myself, please myself, make myself happy and not have to think about pleasing anybody at all. And as selfish as that might sound, I am just done with dealing with people. I want to deal with myself and myself only.

I feel so bad for Jayla Tyler is annoying. At first, I didn't want my darling Jayla to end up with him but as I continued the story, I can't help but ship them together. Still reading the book though but I am enjoying it and thought that I should drop a review cause this book is great!!!

Revenge Of Alpha Dalton's Daughter

Revenge Of Alpha Dalton's Daughter

I chuckled. They did as I asked and in no time, I was alone. I loved that I was alone. I really did enjoy being alone. Not feeling alone though. Being alone and feeling alone were two different things. I went down to the kitchen and got myself some chips and a cart of juice before returning back to the living room. I slumped my body on the couch, turned up the volume of the show that was playing, and enjoyed an hour of being lazy and not thinking about anybody else but myself.

Alone in Death

Alone in Death

She finally understood how important her mother had been to her. After the graduation ceremony, David rushed off to a hotel for a business meeting. He bowed and smiled, humbling himself for deals. Without Jasmine, every expense at home fell on his shoulders. After losing her, the only way he could numb the pain was to bury himself in endless work. His hair had gone mostly gray, but nothing he did could ease the anguish of losing Jasmine. Betty's college acceptance letter arrived. She had chosen a university as far away from home as possible. With that, only David would be left, alone in the house, facing the hollow silence that never left.

The Wife He Never Wanted

The Wife He Never Wanted

I know that enjoying time like this might not seem right to some people—but constantly comparing yourself to others only becomes a burden. And when I reached a certain scene in the novel, I paused. When the right man comes along, everything becomes easy. I let out a quiet laugh. “Or maybe… being alone is what actually makes things easier.” I exhaled deeply. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks that way.

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

“It’s so fucking unfair. Why does she get to be happy while you’re here… alone?” “Who said I’m alone?” I lift a brow and shrug. “I’ve got everything I need. I have you guys, my crazy pups, Rose and Reid, and amazing friends. Mikhail, sometimes things don't turn out to be the way we want... this doesn't mean that they are bad. My life is great the way it is. I will not let the thing that I don't have snatch away the treasure that I have. Because one piece is missing doesn’t mean the whole thing falls apart.”

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

Find Happiness This Time

Find Happiness This Time

I turned back to look at them again and again as I walked away. For a brief moment, it felt as if I could see the Wendy of my past life standing among the crowd, waving at me. Her lips moved, as though she were saying something. "This time, make sure you find true happiness!" I nodded silently to myself. I knew I would.

Alone

I'm not alone anymore, and goodness does it feel fantastic. So this is the final part of "Alone" and I can't believe it's over. It's the longest book I've written but it's also been so fun to write. I'm sorry to keep waiting for the updates. And thank you all for the patience, love and support!
