Kat sat with her arms crossed, eyeing the glass in front of her with suspicion. Opposite her, Levi’s eyes never strayed far from her. She could feel them on her, a quiet intensity that sent a shiver down her spine every time their gazes met. She focused on her cards, trying to ignore the warmth in her cheeks.
“Your turn, Kat,” Susie teased, nudging her.
