Landon asked, his eyes narrowing on his brother. “I just want to get this over with,” Levi grumbled tensely. “Okay, I’m done,” Landon muttered. “You need to get your head out of the mud. Yes, Eva is missing. Yes, it sucks. But the more you sulk around, the less use you are going to be to her.” “You have no idea what it’s like,” Laurence warned through clenched teeth. “Don’t tell me that you do either because your perfect little life has been nothing but sunshine and rainbows.”

Said Roslyn, giving ‘im room to speak, “Some of us have not opened the scripture before; how can we share what we do not know of?” Roslyn was marveled at her new discovery; it also amazed her to know that there are still people who don’t know about the scripture, people who don’t know about God’s grace and wonders. “Oh, Gabriel worries not; I can read the scripture and share the words with all of you.” Said Roslyn; She reached out for her bible on the small stool beside and swiftly opened the bible; she read her favorite book of psalms slowly, making sure they understand the passage.

When one idea is not working shift your thinking to a different one. My daily routine now in order to cancel stress was to just read books on business and Christian literature. I searched for wisdom like a hungry man. I told myself that what if Solomon's wisdom came as a result of studying. I really did carry out much study. Paul says to Timothy 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself a workman not to be ashamed. That's what I started to do day and night. I read on Angels, Holy Spirit, marriage, salvation, forex trade and business in general. I did this for weeks that my mind was now in volume of much literature.

Not read. I put the phone face down. The orchid in the corner... the replacement Tasha had ordered when the first one died... was doing better than its predecessor. Four open blooms. Two buds still coming. I looked at it for a long time. Then I opened the Ashworth file and made myself read it line by line, the way my mother had taught me to read the Bible as a child. Not for the beauty of it. Not for the comfort. For the specific instruction buried in plain language that most people skipped because they were looking for something larger.

I asked. "It is in the book of James, chapter one, verse five and it says, 'if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.' I have so many questions daily, that is where personal revelation is so key! I have been able to find so many answers to spiritual things in just a few weeks that I have been working here. I promise as you take time to read the scriptures, ponder them, and pray about them, you will start to find some answers! I know it is hard to use your time to read a long book that is old and completely out of style but the further you go into the word of God, the further you will be able to find answers

Why couldn’t he do that with her? He put the book in his briefcase and took out the Bible instead. He wasn’t sure what to do about George. That young man didn’t have good business sense. What am I to do about him? He turned to the book of Proverbs because it contained a great deal of wisdom. He used it on a regular basis as a guide for his life. Not that he didn’t read other books of the Bible, but this particular book had the most influence in his business dealings. He credited it with his success. He read the entire book during the next half hour. It wasn’t a long book and it was easy to read. He also stumbled upon the answer to his question. It came from Proverbs 23:9. Do not s

<<45>> * Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. ( Psalms 2vs8 ) * **** ------- Mira. ------- On getting to my room, I crashed into the bed and laid there for about ten minutes before doing some practice questions on my laptop. Now, I knew how important it was to have textbooks and past questions on one's laptop. Thankfully, I downloaded the app which turned out to be very helpful.

I turned around again on my bed trying to find a magic position to make me sleep and forget reality. I just couldn't rest, as I turned around my eyes landed on that one book, that one book I do not like to cslla book , I call it life. I got off my bed and walked to my drawer to pick up my bible. I had gifted one to Desiree and I had one with me. I opened it up and started reading…. One hour later…. I closed down on my bible with a heavy sigh from my lungs. My heart was now steady and normal. I looked at the bible again and just smiled, funny how much life it had and no one seems to understand the gravity it has, the amount of life it gives.

Mia made me realize that the Bible wasn't just any book. And so it couldn't be read like a novel or school book.. As it's actually the most completed book on Earth. Not only that, it's also God's word for us. She advised me not to read the Bible just for reading's sake, but to meditate on the words and see it as God speaking directly to me. And I did... I must say, it was really an emotion packed experience... I recalled reading the book of Jeremiah and got to a verse where God said. “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”

She said. Valerie sighed. "Okay, but can I see the bible or whatever it is you call it?" She asked. Sidney nodded. "Yes!" She said. She retrieved her bag from the far end of the couch where she had dropped it earlier and removed the big book. She handed it to her and sighed as she watched her opened it. Valerie placed the book on the small table next to her, and opened the next page. Inscribed on the front page, read: DO NOT READ IF YOURE NOT PART OF THE HUMPHREY'S FAMILY.
