A FAKE LIFE

A FAKE LIFE

A pity," she says without pity. The just is a guide to his neighbor, but the path of the wicked leads to his downfall. Proverbs 12:26. "What kind of bible do you read?" —It is a simple phrase, I exercised both when overthrowing the Segreta Società . —Did you do it out of pride or selfishness? Did you want it all for yourself? He shakes his head.

One Night Child

One Night Child

Aside from that, there's no harm in trying. I took out my phone and opened the bible app that came with it, and to my amazement, Mister Handsome was correct. "Proverbs 4:25 says, 'Let your eyes be straight ahead; fix your gaze directly ahead of you.'" The bible chapters from Proverbs were exalted. I suddenly recall something, and things start to make sense to my ear. "Wait! "I thought it was a romantic way of saying sorry?" I asked. "Well. As you can see, the Bible is chock-full of surprises." Mister handsome remarked, smiling.

Out of My League

Out of My League

“Time for a little story. No pressure, but this one’s important. Gotta have that legacy.” Nik blinked slowly at the pages, completely quiet. He watched intently as I read, voice hushed and monotone. It was a simple book, designed for early readers, full of art in primary colors and a watered-down retelling. The battle for the temple, the miracle of the oil, and the general message of standing up for what’s right. Nik probably didn’t understand any of it yet. He was probably just entranced by the scarlet robe on Judah Maccabee, or the golden gleam of the lamp. But I believed it didn’t matter.

This is a love at first site story you can actually believe happens in real life. The twists and turns make you swoon with how sweet they are to each other when doing normal every day things as well as protecting and defending each other from their families.

Worth it

Worth it

“Maybe. But if someone’s trying to bury this story, it means there’s still something alive underneath it.” Nora exhaled. “God, you’re impossible.” “Yeah,” Caleb said, sliding the paper back to her. “But that’s what makes you good.” Aria folded the note again, slipping it into her pocket. Her coffee had gone cold, but her decision hadn’t. “Then I guess it’s time to find out who still wants me quiet.” The air inside Valente’s headquarters was heavy with the scent of money, steel, and loyalty bought in blood. The building was disguised as a logistics firm on the East River. Rows of cargo manifests and shipping schedules on every desk, but behind the locked glass doors, the real business thrived

The Grigori Chronicles: Book One: Transcendent

The Grigori Chronicles: Book One: Transcendent

Richard said as he looked at me and back at the fire, sucking on his pipe. “Are you ready?” Ben sat on the sofa beside me, and the cushions threatened to swallow us both into its comfort. Was I ready? Ready for what? He reached to pick up the King James Bible. Beneath it was various other books, none that I recognized except a translation of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Tempest in Paradise

Tempest in Paradise

Ericka stops for a while and reflect what does it mean to her. As she continued to read the first page, Ericka said with excitement, "Wow, amazing and fantastic. I think this will be my favorite books from now on. “Her mind, soul, and spirit are all focused on what she is reading. Because of this, understanding that the Bible's story will continue and that God's redemptive work is ongoing is crucial to effectively engaging with it. We are all encouraged to play our part in this ongoing tale of redemption and new creation. Therefore, welcome to the drama of the Bible. The Internet

The Internet

Only one site remained on the screen. Olalekan stood up and studied the web address on the screen. It was vaguely familiar. With furrowed eyebrows, he wondered where he had seen this before. The others studied this too. BIBLECHRONICLES.ORG Huh? “Isn’t this the website that owns that famous daily devotional app?” One of the Heads of Department said. “Indeed it is. My daughter uses it every day to conduct her bible reading.” Said another. “I don’t understand why this is here…”

His hands fall over my thighs, sliding to and fro, while I pull up the book we are about to study. “Sit up” I request, as I turn off its cover, flipping through pages. We’ve been on this book for a while now, and I must say he’s pretty learning a lot. He asks questions and tries to know stuff, needing explanations. I'd call him a good student, except when he gets all fuzzy and annoying sometimes. “John chapter three verses sixteen to eighteen” I announce, while slamming the bible against his thighs “read it” I demand, holding it until he takes hold of it.
