Sinful Addiction
Tonight, he was finally attempting his first real summoning.
“Just a minor spirit,” he whispered to himself, palms sweaty as he held the ancient incantation scroll. “Nothing dangerous. Just enough to prove to those jerks that spirits are real and I can summon one.”
His hands trembled as he lit the final black candle. The flame danced wildly. He began chanting in halting Latin, his voice growing stronger with each line. The air in the room grew thick and became more sinful. The candles flared violently.
Shadows twisted and stretched unnaturally on the walls, reaching toward him like hungry fingers.
