Migi was about to leave when the man spoke again.
“Fine!” He sighed. “I saw the book you’re holding. That’s why I came here. The fact that you’re scanning them means you’re interested in this kind of stuff. I do, too. Perhaps, it can be a way for us to understand each other.”
At a loss for words, he looked straight at his face, waiting for the moment he’d burst out laughing. But there was not a trace of lies or, for that matter, jokes on his face. “Do you mean to say you believe what this book has got to say?”
