Forbidden never felt this good

Forbidden never felt this good

Crushing. A sudden movement in the shadows made me gasp. Something or someone lunged at Marcus. He reacted instantly, deflecting the attacker, but the impact sent crates toppling. Sparks flew. Flames erupted closer to us. “Move!” Elliot shouted, grabbing my hand and pulling me forward. We ran, twisting through the labyrinthine corridors, the heat intensifying, the smoke thickening. Every turn was a test, every shadow a threat, and every heartbeat felt like a countdown. Then, we reached a chamber, larger, circular, with a high ceiling. In the center, a platform surrounded by fire. And on it… her. Standing, calm, smiling.

Asterion

Asterion

I nodded and led the way back to the main room. While Amphidocus sat and ate, the girls peppered him with questions, mostly wanting to know how the remaining tributes were holding up. I stayed at the back near the exit. Deciding that I should probably make myself busy elsewhere, I turned to leave. I didn’t get very far before I felt someone tug at my elbow.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.

I loved this story. I started reading it twice before, then just read it all way through over the last couple of days. I really want more like this! It was such a great twist on the Minotaur Myths and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Arena

The Arena

I use my claws to slice an opening so I can pull the arrows out, throwing them into the fire. I begin looking for a way out. We’re surrounded by fire. I’m distracted as I catch whiffs of campfire and roasted marshmallows. Is Tana stuck in here too? I look around, desperate to find her. The smell of burning flesh and wood is so strong that I can’t get a good feel of where she might be.

I have read this and the other 3 so far. I am on Anacalgons story. These books are unlike anything I've read before. The way she blends all of the books creating one story within 5 books. Having the different points of views has been a new experience for me. Very well done author ............

MATED TO MY BROTHER'S ENEMY

MATED TO MY BROTHER'S ENEMY

Came in handy, now more than ever. Something flickered at the corner of Lucas’s eye, a little shadow darting between the brawling groups near the platform. Joy, the kitchen girl who somehow had more guts than sense, clutched a handful of stolen fire oil bottles and bolted after screwing with the binding stones. Three of those twisted guards spotted her and peeled off to hunt her down.

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

Luca’s POV Darkness pressed in like wet concrete, the emergency strips dead, the only light the faint red glow of my burner phone screen as we stumbled up the emergency stairwell. Gunfire echoed behind us sporadic now, dying gasps of Chen’s team as the mutated nanos took hold. Coughs turned to wet gurgles; bodies hit the floor with finality. The mist had grown so thick it tasted metallic on my tongue, euphoria edging in at the corners of my vision, making every heartbeat feel slow and syrupy.

Alpha’s Claimed Mate.

Alpha’s Claimed Mate.

Pov: Cael and Aiden. Scene: Fernmere – Town Square, Just Before Dawn Flames clawed at the sky, reflecting off shattered windows and blood-slick stone. Fernmere was chaos—smoke-choked and burning, its people scattered like leaves in a storm. Cael stood at the heart of it all.

The Palace of the Twilight Pack

They both hugged each other and parted ways. Cyrus entered the great forest of Timber and Caliber, the forest of the dead filled with zombies and wild animals are also there too. His mind is filled with that of the stone he's no longer a soft prince anymore, he walked around still trying to find his way to get the Seed Of Life, he suddenly met a short zombie that scared him a little bit but Cyrus slayed off the throat of the short zombie. Fires Within Fires

Hade had left me in here alone. To die. Goodbye mama and papa. Goodbye Ayla. The smoke from the fire was making it hard to breath and I couldn’t help byr ciugh inti the gag. It was getting harder to breathe and my eyes were my eyes. It was getting difficult to keep them open. Suddenly a black shadow came into being. I looked past the water that had gathered. Dragons Trust

Dragons Trust

She wove bedtime stories that made me feel normal, even when kids gossiped about my amber eyes or fled from my social awkwardness. Then came that dreadful night. The hunters torched our small log cabin, aided by firebenders and earthbenders who trapped us in, intending to burn us alive. Smoke might not kill immortals, but flames could destroy demons and those of mixed blood. Mom shielded my trembling frame, her focus sharp as she searched for an escape. Satisfied with the direction, she pivoted and burst through the door, but it was already too late. The hunters had poison capable of immobilizing demons, making them easy prey for the flames.
