Simone Ten Months Ago “Why?” he asked, face still and half shrouded by documents. His eyes roved over the packet in front of him that detailed every piece of me—the good, the bad, and the ugly. The interview process wasn’t too traumatic, but I was relieved that he only had one more question after nearly an hour and a half of questioning. I raised a brow. “I’m sorry?” He glanced up at me, his expression unchanging. “Why? You’re young, single, with no family, and an average job. Why do you want to do this?”

One other student waits to talk to the professor, so I patiently wait my turn. “Hey, Leera, did you need anything from me?” she asks as I approach her desk. “No, thank you. I mean, yes. I mean, I don’t need anything I just have a quick question. Do you know if the interview is before or after the game or anything?” “I believe my understanding was that after the game, you can participate in the postgame press conference for your interview,” she responds. “Oh, okay. That makes sense. Thank you, Professor.”

Quinn had insisted on street food after the cinema, and that made us late without choice. It was now 12 noon, and he still had not returned. I moved around the house, picking up small things, putting them down again. I felt restless within me. "I accepted a TV interview for us," Quinn broke the news suddenly, his voice casual. "You did what?" I nearly screamed. My heart jumped. "It's no big deal. They just want to ask a few questions and that's all," he explained. He leaned back, trying to make it sound simple. "Doesn't sound like it's that simple," I said. My voice came out harsher than expected, no harsher than intended.

“All the way, We have the joint interview in an hour. We use it, Show them we’re solid.” Chloe pulled her hand back slowly and stood, clearing the dishes with jerky movements. “Fine. But if they ask about my body or the surrogacy like I’m some sideshow, I don’t know if I can keep smiling through it.” The interview took place in a sleek studio downtown. After 3 weeks to anticipation ,I finally had my interview and I made sure it would happen around the time when Alex was at work ,Cause I knew he would stop me saying it would be too stressful and all that ,but I was way to determined . On the interview day ,I had ordered some formal attire cloths .I warned the maids that I am going to sleep and not to disturb me ,Cause you know if the maids come to know the typically Alex also come's to know .
