Hunted Hunter Novels & Stories

It was during the day when the packhouse would have been busy. Thirdly, she was so flippant about murder. That was not the way that someone would speak about it if they only ever did it once. Fourthly, who the fuck was Lauren anyways? Was she alone, or did she have family here? ‘He thinks you’re onto something. He caught a couple snippets of a man kneeling beside her over a mannequin as he taught her techniques. That changed into her kneeling over a body. A few pack names as well – Pinehurst, Albrook, Shadow Creek, Silvern, and Blue Crest.’

With focused determination in their eyes, they moved stealthily through the shadows, each step echoing the silent promise of a successful hunt. The forest was alive with murmurs of nocturnal creatures, and as they ventured deeper, the hunters spread out, their senses sharp and alert. The hunt was on, and the night held the promise of bountiful prey. Alpha Grayson's keen eyes scanned the dense forest, his senses heightened as he searched for his prey. And then, in the distance, he spotted a magnificent deer, its sleek form moving gracefully through the underbrush. Alpha Grayson gave the deer a chase, his agile form swiftly weaving through the trees with calculated precision. His powerful musc

Still, I had my reasons for keeping my new prisoner where she was. Hunter put the rabbit in the cage. We scanned the area, waiting for our next target. It took us a while before we spotted another prey—a small deer, moving cautiously through the underbrush. Hunter raised his rifle, sighting along the barrel, but the shot rang out wide, startling the animal. He missed. I threw my head back and laughed. That was all it took. “Do you fuck that weak too?” Hunter exploded. He tossed his gun aside, and in an instant, he was all claws, rippling muscles, and snapping teeth. We were rolling through the woods, fists flying, leaves and twigs crunching beneath us.

People around him thought him to be too full of himself when they saw how lightly he packed. After they had selected their gears and weapons, they boarded the helicopters respectively to be dropped in different parts of the deep jungle. The forest chosen this time was huge, spanning up to hundreds of miles. Dropping different contestants in different regions would guarantee relative fairness. There was also a dog tag on each of the participants that had their identity stamped on it. Players are able to snatch each other’s dog tags. The one with the most dog tags collected would be crowned the best hunter and the winner of The Great Hunt.

"Hunt what?" "Anomalies. The creatures that slip through the cracks between the surface and down here. Things like what we encountered today, but worse. Much worse." He leaned forward, his voice dropping. "Every person in this camp, every person in every camp throughout Lenore, is bound to what's called the Hunter System." "That sounds ominous." "It is." Marcus finished with my bandage and stepped back. "The System tracks everything. Every creature you kill, every mission you complete, every credit you earn. It's not optional, Lucille. From the moment you arrived here, you were automatically enrolled."

“So you would know that we’re not joking when we tell you to stay close and not leave the pack. Don’t go beyond the border.” “We’re teenagers, dad. Do you really think those vague warnings mean shit to us?” I asked. “I guess not. You were almost kidnapped last night. So, I have permission to tell you what I am about to tell you. But that’s it and you’re not allowed to repeat it to anyone.” He said. He suddenly had my interest and I leaned forward a little on my seat. “What are you talking about?” I asked. “The pack is being watched. We’re not too sure why. At least I’m not. I’m not sure if the Alpha does. But I don’t know why. They are watching our every move and they obviously decided to ac

I sat back against the metal wall, chest heaving, and touched the stinging skin on my neck. Stars…I was thankful I paid attention to military training. Now that they have my DNA profile. By morning, every hunter on the planet would have it too. I couldn't go back to my room, and I couldn't go back to the diner. I rested my hand flat over my stomach, feeling the ache settle down. I was out of options, but I was still breathing.

"What about your husband that needs to be kept confidential? "My father asks. "By coincidence, he worked for Jonathan for a long time... And before him, for his father, Jon Maxwell. Hunter fled Turkey for being one of the children who were kidnapped a long time ago, and even though he was a witness to much of what happened, he is an accomplice. One of his parents is American, we don't know which one, but I think they are still alive, considering that Jonathan's men used this information for an ambush... Maybe Jonathan talks too much when he's arrested... You have to make sure you can avoid this.”

His watchful eyes scan the surroundings, ensuring the safety of their journey. Hunter, adorned with his trusty spear and a dagger tucked into his wrap, takes on the crucial role of scout, swimming at the forefront of the group. His weapon of choice, a sleek and sturdy spear, is poised to strike at a moment's notice, ready to defend against any threats that may emerge. The gleaming blade of his dagger serves as a versatile tool for close-quarters combat or precise underwater tasks.

Claire interrupted, “What exactly is a Hunter?” He took a deep breath, steadying himself. “A hunter is a type of human who was or is a Mythical bounty hunter. They have enhanced skills; fighting abilities, enhanced senses. I think one or both of your parents were Hunters. Especially after seeing you in action. Haven’t you ever wondered how you could fight and keep up with the wolves and vampires in your coven and pack? Love, you ARE A HUNTER.”
