HUNTED

HUNTED

His gaze never wavered, holding on, sharp enough to cut diamond if he tried. They locked onto mine and everything else in the bar blurred into bleariness. The music faded from my ears just as all the people present there disappeared. Now there was only him and the weight of his stare burning through me. Heat rushed through every single corner of me until I was oversaturated. My body burned as the intensity of his emerald eyes aroused me. There was something about him that just felt dangerous in a predatory way. His eyes slowly checked me out, causing sensations to bombard me.

Hunted By The Past

Hunted By The Past

I could hardly see my own fingers, but I could hear Galen screaming and arguing with Ashern about something. Fists went flying and voices were loud. I could barely keep up. My attempts to call for them to stop were met with yet another urge to purge my stomach contents. My world felt like it was spinning. My stomach was on fire. Alcohol on an empty stomach was like a damn death sentence. The last thing I heard before collapsing into the ground was, ‘You’re trying to steal her from me.’ I fell, before someone caught me in their arms and carried me with them.

Under the Blue Moon

Under the Blue Moon

By the time we had finished gathering as much data as we could, the click-clack of Heather’s shoes was heard once more, though this time they were accompanied by a heavier set of leather shoes tapping the ground. I could hear several voices, though they remained near the entrance of the library somewhere. I could smell them, Hunters. One, in particular, held my attention. The one following Heather.

Now that is locked ahead, it's way easier to decide to read this story or not. A strange group of younger kids appeared that doesn't seem werewolf! Now that's more like it! Mystery, tension, questions! I wonder if they are friends or enemies... and what about the hunters? Where are they...

A Baby For The Beast

A Baby For The Beast

“Listen to me seriously. This is kind of important for our future here. For the three of us…” … With Jaskier’s help, we were able to get the ancient book from the royal library. And just like the revelation, it was locked. Piper picked the lock with her hairpin, making me gain access to the book. I read through it, night and day wondering what Lady Archer was talking about. What exactly did she mean by my answers where in it? “Going for breakfast hunt today?” Emily called out one day. “Will skip.” I remarked, so engrossed in the book. I needed to find answers but it seemed like I wasn’t finding anything.

The Hunter and the Rogue Alpha

The Hunter and the Rogue Alpha

Willow said as she slipped her coat off and Dante immediately took it. "It's fine." He yawned as he lead them toward the back of the shop, "Amira actually has been digging through the grimoires again." He stopped in front of the desk and folded his arms across his chest as he nodded to the open gate. Willow stepped up beside him and saw Amira with her back to them sitting on the floor with books spread out around her. "She hasn't even glanced up when we came in." Dante noted, "Hunters are supposed to be highly aware of their surroundings, but she's either oblivious or is aware and doesn't care."

Hey, lovelies! Thank you so much to all of you who have waited for this book's release through the setbacks! For those of you who are new here, this is the fourth installment and should be read after Timber, Mated to Brianna, and Mylo (which is at the end of Timber), but for sure after Mated to Brianna which will set the stage and characters for this book. This book is a slow burn with some spicy heat later on - and lots of it! It’s going to have a few M-M moments, possible triggers, and the heirs can have quite the potty mouths.

The Moon's Descendant

The Moon's Descendant

Zelena. I opened my eyes slowly. The sun was already shining brightly through the window. I reached my arm behind me and felt around the bed. I sat up quickly and looked around the room. Gunner wasn’t there. I took a deep breath and yawned stretching my arms out. Wait, my chest didn’t hurt. I twisted my back from side to side waving my arms in the air, my ribs didn’t hurt at all. I got up from the bed and walked around the room, still no pain. I noticed the bookshelf and decided to take a look. There were so many books, some with older worn covers and others newer looking. I picked up a small red book and read the cover ‘A Lycanthropy Reader; WEREWOLVES IN WESTERN CULTURE’. I flicked through

The story is really good! The writer seemed to be learning how to tell the story from two perspectives. At first the author rewrote whole scenes but listened to readers and adapted it a little better. Still some time jump with perspective changes. Zelena has so many powers it seems a lil contrived.

This book was so well written! it caught my attention from the start and kept me hooked continuously! Some parts got confusing during the 2 POVs when something happened in 1 but not the other. If this was published on paper I'd buy it. What a fantastic read ! well done ! Im off to read part 2 ☺️

The Manhunt

The Manhunt

I look back quickly, the last hunter is still pursuing me with his lascivious grin. “I'm gonna kill you chomp. This time, you will surely be my prey!” I can see him lining his eyes at the front sight of his rifle and pulling the trigger. A loud bang echoes followed by the bullet which tears through the flesh of my arm. I almost fall on impact, but manage to maintain my balance. At first, the pain was unbearable, but perhaps the adrenaline has already filled my body so that I can no longer feel the aching sensation. Though I watch my wound bleed and blood came spurting out from the gap. I cover it with my hand. I run like mad, desperate to escape from the hunter that is following me. My breat

Frequently Asked Questions

The way 'Hunted' pops up in discussions makes me think of two possibilities—either the 2013 urban fantasy novel by Kevin Hearne (part of his 'Iron Druid Chronicles') or the 2017 dark fantasy by Meagan Spooner. Hearne’s 'Hunted' is the sixth book in his series, starring the 2,000-year-old druid Atticus O’Sullivan, and it’s a wild ride blending Celtic mythology with modern-day snark. The action sequences here are top-tier, especially the showdown with ancient gods, but what stuck with me was how Hearne balances humor with emotional stakes. Like, Atticus’s bond with his wolfhound Oberon had me laughing one minute and tearing up the next. Meanwhile, Spooner’s 'Hunted' reimagines 'Beauty and the Beast' with a Russian folklore twist—it’s a standalone, but her lyrical prose makes it feel epic. The icy wilderness setting and Yeva’s internal struggle between vengeance and love linger in your mind long after reading.

If we’re talking games, there’s also 'Hunted: The Demon’s Forge,' a 2011 co-op action RPG that flopped commercially but has a cult following for its gritty atmosphere. It’s not tied to any book series, but the lore-heavy approach gives it a novel-like depth. Honestly, the confusion around the title ‘Hunted’ just proves how many creators love this word for its primal, chase-driven tension!
