Its skin was a sickly, translucent white, and its eyes were glowing red. The hybrids. "Aegis lost control," Elodie whispered, her heart dropping into her shoes. The first hybrid leaped onto an armored SUV, its claws shearing through the metal like it was paper. The screams of the human soldiers began to fill the valley.

Ciaran responded before he made a small step towards the car, Tobias cleared his throat. "Have you heard about that rogue hybrid running northward?" Ciaran nodded his head. "There hasn't been any word if she's been captured or not. Alpha Mike has put a bounty on her head.
